Where to buy manifold flanges and where to buy SFC?

Hey all,

So since headers are so damn expensive, and money runs light most of the time...I found myself in possession of 02 camaro manifolds for FREE!!! But now I need to find the flanges to bolt an exhaust to these damn things. Also, when there are broken studs, do you all just try to drill/press them out and replace them as studs, or just use bolts after that?

My next question might be a loaded one, but I forgot I didnt have any SFC yet. I'm leaning toward weld in, and having them put in just after the motor is in. It will be a pita to do it now as I would have to trailer it to a shop and trailer it back. But anyway, no matter when they go in, What are the best ones in terms of mounting high and tight, and anything else I'm not considering???

SSM connectors if you can find some. I have used them twice now and like them above the rest.

Re: Where to buy manifold flanges and where to buy SFC?

look hard on craigslist for stock manifolds, i found some for 25 bucks and cut the flanges off and used them on another set of stock manifolds, which i also found for 25 bucks, so i got two sets for $50...

So your saying look for another set, cut the flanges off, weld pipe to them and use them against the manifolds I have now?

Re: Where to buy manifold flanges and where to buy SFC?

Thanks for the help guys...yeah I think Spohn SFC's are going to be what I get. I'll get to searching tech for anything cheaper before I buy the Ebay ones you showed me dprest...thanks for that link, I saved it in my watch list for now. I should just do it but hey...$10 or $15 bucks is $10 or $15 bucks!!!

Re: Where to buy manifold flanges and where to buy SFC?

No problem. I bought those because I needed the block off plates too and it was cheaper to buy it all together.

The ebay link dprest68 posted is where I got my flanges too. I ordered the truck flanges by mistake. Seller sent LS1s out as I was returning the truck ones, good seller. These were the cheapest that I could find with or without EGR block offs. I cant comment specifically on Spohns sub-frames, but do a search on thier K-members and you may reconsider thier quality and customer service.

Re: Where to buy manifold flanges and where to buy SFC?

Thanks everyone for the recommendations. Glad to hear it.

Our SFC's are very popular and we have had great results. We have been manufacturing the same design for the last 7 years or so.

One difference with ours compared to our competitor is we do offer ours powder coated for no additional charge, others charge extra for this.

Here is a link to our SFC's along with a few installation pictures.

If you have any questions please ask. Thanks!
