I know that car is gonna fly with that motor.
Something about carbed LS motors that is just killer.
I got hooked on painting all my intakes hi temp black wrinkle finish.
Gloss black always sinister.

I really want the chevrolet valve covers, but I cant justify 400$ when I could use it to go faster lol

very nice. i love all the aluminum bits these engines come with to begin with, but such a bear to keep looking nice. dont blame you for spraying em. I've seen a couple guys do the valve covers in the crinkle black finish, looks super nice

I decided Im spraying all exposed alum parts with cast alum paint. Even if I was using an LS1 block I think I would still do it. Impossible to keep it clean if you drive the thing daily.

I think Im going gloss black on the block, front cover and valley cover. Krinkle on the valve covers which Im toying with smoothing and ditching my FRCs. Clean FAST intake. And then cast alum on water pump, accessories and brackets. Should look a good bit cleaner.

Gonna be a week or two. Jusr sent the heads and intake to wcch for stage 2 porting anx a nics .055" mill. I ordered my yank converter and brake for my 4l80e today.
