CTSV OIL PAN FITMENT PICS!
1' set back plates
jegs sbc solid mounts
6.0 lq4
stock k member (No cutting or notching)
pics are not the greatest, there is plenty of clearance, but it gets the point across.
fits like it is made for it!

Holy **** nice find! Didn't think there was any other that fit. And no need to cut it is even better. A/c compressor still doesn't fit without notching though?
Im guessing it also doesn't fit with lsx swap mounts? And also how far back would the motor sit compared to the 'normal' lsx swap mounts?

Re: CTSV OIL PAN FITMENT PICS!
Hanging that far below the k-member wouldnt work for me. Even if I wasnt lowered. I dont think my k-member clears a beer can like that either..? Whats going on with your suspension?
Did you just set it on the ground or just get weight put back on it? Kinda looks like your a-arms are angled down more than they should be. If that is the case, move the car in/out if possible and see what the clearance to ground is then.
Not diggin on ya by the way...I just know that my k-member has taken some smacks from road debris like rocks and such and has probably saved my oil pan numerous times. Im lowered a bit though...and honestly cant remember what its like under a stock suspension f-body haha.
Otherwise looks great!! Lots of room around the k-member!

yeah, i have scrapped the stock k on the crown of some local roads, that would be a disaster with that pan. Fits nice, but i do not like that it sits that low

that looks like a good pan for a weld job. if you can get them real cheap.
the truck pans require several cuts this looks like you could chop the bottom off, re-weld it for clearance and shorten the pick up tube

I don't see a transmission in there weighing the car down.

Good point five7... I was trying to figure out why it was sitting so high given his suspension setup. Totally forgot there was no trans hanging off the back. That'll drop it a good deal for sure.

Hahah Im looking closer. I mean...if you say there is Im sure there is haha. I see what might be the oil pan? But at first I thought that was the other side of the subframe. Didnt realize it would leave that much of the flexplate or block exposed.

I didn't say there wasn't one, I said I didn't see one...
I suppose if you know what you're looking for, you can see the tranny pan in the 3rd pic.
You might want to look into using the LS-type 4L80E lower cover, modified to fit the TH400. It would allow you to pick up those two bolt holes in the pan to support the bellhousing (which is missing one bolt due to the LS configuration).
