BRP swap Kit?

I was looking at using BRP's swap mounts and cross member. Has anyone used them? I most likely will be using there headers also. I was told there kit works with the stock K member but will the mounts bolt up and be fine with a tubular K-member that wasn't built for LS swap? Should be the same as a stock K that the kit was built around correct?

don't know anything about the mount kit, but their headers work great with the stock k-member. i have the mids on my 6.0l and i would recommend them to anyone. there shouldn't be any issues with the headers and tubular k.

Thanks for the info. I couldn't find hardly any reviews on any of there parts so was curious as to what people thought of them.

Can you post some pics with those mids installed? I am looking into getting some.

Re: BRP swap Kit?

nope... I was barely able to find the mid's... I want LT's but cannot justify paying 800-1000 for them seeing how this car is just a "toy" that will most likely be ignored for the better part of the year. If you order or found out anything about the swap kit, post it.

Re: BRP swap Kit?

If the mounts are made to fit in the stock place, and you have a tubular k member for stock mounts, I don't see any reason why they would not work.

Re: BRP swap Kit?

Bringing a thread back from the dead, I really like the look of this kit. I'll be using a 700R4 behind my LQ9 so I'll have to use a cross member from BMR to make it work. No one else makes a 700R4 cross member for the swap that I can find. The design of the long tubes I think are what I like the best about this.
