thanks guys.
86gn, the shop said that the front springs were clocked right and nothing in the front end was changed, and that it simply settled. I never in a million years would have guessed, and I still think they reclocked the springs lol
But to everyone that said "they will settle" I apologize. It appears you were right, and I am amazed that they did!

yeah stock bottom end. In a few years I'll go with a better short block with more cubes and see what that blower can really do!
track times will be disappointing. There are no 1/4 mile tracks anywhere near me

Re: LS1 Swap Crew: This is my Supercharged LS1 swap thread
I took a trip down to pcm of nc today. My car is mostly done, so I wanted to check out the work, and take my car for the first drive in the last 6 months its been apart
It fires right up like a clap of thunder...its surprising! The 4" Mufflex exhaust sounds amazing, and surprisingly enough doesn't seem to drone at all in overdrive.
The car drive smooth with no bucking or jerking that I could tell.
I did a 20-100 pull in just a few seconds! The power is unreal! A 300 horsepower increase is quite a jump lol. The BEST part (to me) is that I can't hear the blower! Not at idle, not cruising, and certainly not at WOT. Noone will ever suspect whats under the hood

Very cool! It's always nice when the power is there, then when it drives well to, that seals the deal.

Very nice build! That dyno graph looks great, incredible torque at such a low number. You'll be burning up tires off every stop light.
Car sounds sweet...it should be a blast to drive with that nice jump in power.

How's ur stance compared to when you had the sbc in there? I know you have the blower which adds a little weight but I'm curious as to how much your front end came up. Did you cut springs at all? Thanks

Re: LS1 Swap Crew: This is my Supercharged LS1 swap thread
it sits exactly the same as before. The LS1 and accessories are lighter than the SBC by (I think they said) 100 pounds, but the blower and parts adds about 70-75. It sits the same as before.

Re: LS1 Swap Crew: This is my Supercharged LS1 swap thread
I took the car out yesterday. It was 55* and sunny here in VA...perfect winter day for a cruise! We went to Roanoke, about 45 minutes away, to a monthy club dinner.
The car performed wonderful! Alvin really did a good job with the tune. As he puts it "it drives like a baby" no bucking, jerking, surging....just nice smooth power.
1st, 2nd, and 3rd gear are useless right now. I really need warm weather and more importantly, a good tire. Looking into some weld rt-s wheels with a 15x10 out back. I still haven't been able to do a WOT run....seriously there is no traction. I can ease in to it in 4th gear, but the axle hops around until about 70mph
My wife made me do it though...she was bugging the hell out of me to see how fast it is now lol she's a keeper!
My check engine light came on. One code for a MAF sensor voltage, and one for a clutch switch circuit. I'm pretty sure that both of them should have been turned off in the tune. Waiting to hear from Alvin on how to proceed...probably just have to send my PCM in to get it taken care of.
Overall, very happy. The new exhaust sounds amazing, too!

probably be in your best interest to run a 3.5X or less gear, that will also help with your traction issues.

What did you do for rear suspension? Type of bushings? LCARB might help too?

I have full spohn suspension on my car as well as lcarbs on the lowest setting.
Looks like I ordered the wrong damn tires. I ordered Nitto NT05 instead of NT05R. I need to decide if I'm going to just order another set of tires, or go with some 15x9 weld rt-s on the back and 17x9 on the front.

Did an almost WOT run today, in 4th gear lol The NT05 tires I bought are horrible. I rolled into 4th because the car wanted to skate out a little in the back

I went with an 04 GTO kit (works with f body accessories) and I'm not sure on the pullies...they've all been swapped around. Its at the body shop now getting some finishing paint work, but I should have it this weekend I hope.

Re: LS1 Swap Crew: This is my Supercharged LS1 swap thread
Been having a bit of a stalling issue lately when I used the AC. Took the car to PCM of NC last week as I was passing through. They found a bad idle air control valve, and replaced it. They also had to do some PCM tweaking for a setting call "compressor torque". It has something to do with airflow through the ac condensor. They took an educated guess in the winter when they tuned it, but as it got hot outside it just wasn't working. Add in the fact that they had to pull a bunch of air through the intercooler as well....their guess didnt work. BUT they got it all squared away, and it blows COLD now.
The reason we were traveling near them, is because we were on our way to Pontiacs in Pigeon Forge. This year there was about 200 Pontiacs present for the weekend. There are classes from stock, to modified, to builders.
I won 2nd place out of all the modified firebirds!

My wife won 2nd place in the Compact class for her Solstice GXP. It includes solstice, fieros, G5, G6, etc.
We were both pretty happy about that. I wonder who won first place in the firebird class...I never did find out.
Oh, and I average 25MPG pure highway. Very happy about that.

I work for Eaton and the TVS rotors are Eaton's design. Roush, OEM's and Edelbrock use our rotor design but use their on case just like you said.. i get a killer discount on the rotors just the case and everything else is full price. i really can't wait to find an LS and t-56 6 speed i can afford because then i'll save up for a cheap supercharger
