my first car

this is what i got for my first car i bought it for 3500, and did a little work to it and this is how it looks now so what do you guys think and what would you suggest for me to do on it becasue i want to make it look different than most peoples camaros out there i was thinking really dark blue with the same rims and then blackout taillights with whatever legal tint is out here

Re: my first car

Is it a Z28 or rs? I ask because of the lack of a high rise spoiler. Either way, I say lower it a bit and repaint the front ground effects. If it were up to me id get rid of the wheels (only because that style seems to be too common for me) and get some other good five spoke style wheels with a nice low profile tire.

Edit: Also....get a high rise for that thing

Re: my first car

You gonna paint the whole thing or just touch up some areas?

Re: my first car

you got abit of a dent in the driver fender there.
shouldnt be to hard to fix up.
i would paint the whole car so you dont have any good freshly paint mixed with older paint. and yes lower it it will look so much better. make it look mean. im thinking of getting some 17" C6 Rims from the corvette. the 5 spoke ones. i love the way they look. VROOM VROOM
i love your car by the way good snap. i paid $1200 on mine and i think i got robbed!

Re: my first car

i am going to paint the entire car at once and like i said i want it to be dark blue then lower it but what do you guys think of having the rear wheels an inch or so bigger than the front i think i would give a more aggressive stance

Re: my first car

you could do that.
you could lower the front 2" and the rear an inch or leave it alone and it will have a mean stance.
thats what i did to my car.
i was lowering it and i started with the front and i got it all back togeather. and i liked the way it looked. here is a photo of my car.

Re: my first car

I personally am against staggered wheels, but do whatever you want/like with your car, after all...its yours. If you do decide to go with that look, I wouldnt want a difference any bigger than 1 inch, but i know some people on here have done 2 ( i believe someone is running 18s up front and 20s out back?) But i think it starts to look a little weird when the difference is that big.

Re: my first car

yea i think that i would look good a little lower all around with an offset of no more than about an inch between front a rear

then i also want a different hood because that is the stock hood and alot of people have it so i want it to be different i was looking at a sunoco hood or a just o cowl hood no more than 2 1/2 inches

Re: my first car

yea it was running when i bought it but like yours it sat for about 3 years and i got it with only about 60-65 thousand miles on it so with a little work it is running really good and i also want to keep it for life and get this the first owner was an old lady that never drove it then i bought if from a guy that bought it drove it then parked it
plus i also like your rims those are cragers right?

Re: my first car

Lucky bastard! I would have been all over a deal like that when I bought my car! I paid $3600 for my 91 RS with a 3.1L! Don't change the color, that is one of the best colors for these cars (the others being red and black).

Re: my first car

yea i know thats why i am only going to make the blue darker cause i have not seen any around where i live and i like that color
and yea me to at first it sounded like it was to good to be true but then after i saw it a drove it i was pretty much sold right there
the only problems was it needed a tune up and rear spoiler which is why i have the one i do instead of the taller spoiler
