Teaser shots--87 yellow IROC

Stopped for lunch at my buddies house...but it was raining So this is all you get for now.

He just bought it---its the L98 350. The car is 99% stock. Interior and ext in awesome shape. You'll notice the OE Gooodyears too.

Car has 81,000kms on it--just over 50K miles. Full load expet for a few things (no power seat, wiper, Bose ect) Oddly enough no cargo cover

Get some better pics in a few days.

he was thinking some chrome IROC wheels. A decent stereo--and maybe a few bolt ons. (cat-back, headers stuff like that)

Re: Teaser shots--87 yellow IROC

Headers and a full exhaust system would be perfect. Wake that car up big time. I would also change the tires but keep them. Never know if you want to sell the car, they could come in handy.

I noticed that too. Nice how the paint on the wheels matches with the interior. Will be looking forward to more pics.

My brother is looking at a yellow convertible (86 I belive) and I was just about to ask if they came in yellow, I guess this answers my question.

Re: Teaser shots--87 yellow IROC

Very nice

I'm curious, are the tires the originals from '87? The gatorbacks didn't last the longest and the one pictured still has a good amount of tread. I bought an '86 with similar miles and it still had two gatorbacks on it with similar tread left. According to the codes on the sidewall, they were either made in '86 or '96, but I didn't know which.

good eye...the are OEM tires purchased in the mid 90's. Not original ones it was sold with

He finally washed it today! So it was time for some better pics.

and yes it was repainted in the mid 90's---after a hail storm. Painted at the dealer for $6400. But yeah they got a bit of over spay in the well wells/fender liner

Re: Teaser shots--87 yellow IROC

I wish I would have taken the damn near free yellow iroc here in town when I was 17, but I was being stubborn about what car I was going to choose and had it in my mind that I would get a first gen... wish I had taken it. Looked almost identical to this car and I've been trying to get my hands on a Camaro ever since...

I just picked up a Yellow 87 myself. About to freshen it up with a 383 and new paint.
