Re: Check out the new Kicks
I tell you what. I would like to know the same about polishing the rear and front lights. By the way, sick rims. I really would like to get the Z06 5 star rims, kinda like those but the ones that look like srt-4 rims.

Re: Check out the new Kicks
with the splits in them? ya the lights seem to be ruining all the other nice shiny things. i have heard all about polishing the firebird lights but nothing about camaros or anything about fronts. everyone says get new ones. i dont have any $$$ to waste on a turn signal housing.

No s***. When your like me, and you probably are. Buying stuff for these cars has to be all mint, which costs money and takes time searching. But hey its fun taking it slow and doing stuff here and there, cause later on down the road its worth it.

Go to the body department of your local auto parts store like Autozone. They carry a polishing kit for plastic headlights that would likely work. The rims looks great.

Re: Check out the new Kicks
I used a Powerball with Power Metal polish, worked fine!
IMO the wheels belong on a C6, I prefer the deep dish look but to each their own. I bet those cost a few nickles and dimes
You running a 4th gen rearend or the world's biggest wheel spacers?

Re: Check out the new Kicks
Son of a bee-sting that thing is clean!
Like others mentioned, most any plastic polish will make help with the lights. I've never had any "new looking" results polishing the front turn signals, if your going for the mint look you'll probably need new lights. But the tailights tend to turn out looking new when polished most of the time..

Re: Check out the new Kicks
The wheels look awesome, great stance!
That mother's plastic polish works great as you already found out. The headlight on my TL1000R was scratched really bad from when the previous owner laid it down, I though I'd be shelling out a $150 for a new light but my buddy who works for a body shop said, check this out. I looked brand new in no time!

Rims look great...big fan. Nice clean car.
Mother's plastic polish and a powerball (or mini) work great.
Why now pick up the clear euro front lenses

Re: Check out the new Kicks
I bought these lights from a store on Ebay a few months back. If you can part with $60 I recommend them. They went in nice and easy perfect fit......Rims looks awesome by the way.
The lights are a little covered by the Bra but you can still see them.

Wow. Normally I dislike shiny/chrome/polished wheels but those just flow amazingly well with the white paint. That looks beautiful.
Now just lower it.

Re: Check out the new Kicks
your car is exactly what i was wanting to do with mine =) looks amazing, also on the polishing, i don't know if you can do this to taillights as well but the newer cars with the clear plastic headlights, at work sometimes if we get a car that needs a new one and the other is the original and it looks crappy, we wet sand and buff the headlight, works pretty good, i know I've done it to my taillights but they were smoked with clear black so its painted, not sure bout just the stock colored plastic.
