Got my klearz on my 92 RS...
And some other shots of a painfully normal looking 1992 RS. I've got a LOT of work put into this car... but it's nothing extraordinary. I like to think it's "decent". I'm just glad taht the paint, as faded and crappy as it is, is still presentable until next year when I get around to doing paint.
These are the smoked red klearz. I was out at my buddy's shop out in the country to get back to trying to restore a fiberglass hood (you can see it in teh second picture) and realized it was a pretty good photo op out there and I had my cam with me so I went ahead and took a bunch of pics. The car isnt sitting on level ground so dont worry, the rear end is normally jacked that high in the air.

I got this one because a storm was rolling in...

And btw, the fuel line is temporary. Was a test to isolate a problem I was having.

too much red for my taste, i've always loved stock grid tail lights one of my favorite parts about a camaro, i even love the stocker yellow side markers, some things don't need replacing in these cars, might look better on a black car though

I think they would look better on a black car too. But they'll look better once I get the grids black like theyre supposed to be. Maybe I should paint the car black.... hmm... or silver... I bet they'd look amazing on a silver car.
I think I should have gone with clear reverse lights though. Would have broken up the colors a little. I would have prefered to get them smoked black honestly, but around here you'd get a ticket for it, and the smoked red isn't as obviously not stock.
But I'm extremely pleased with them anyway. To each his own!

That looks sharp. How do they look with the signals on and with back-up lights on?

IMO I think they'd look better if you painted the grid recesses black

The reverses though... I dont even have them wired up since the T56 swap... so I couldnt tell you on that one.

They are now.

Kinda hard to see in these pics though. I've been so busy trying to bring that hood back from the dead that I havent gotten many chances to sit back and just take some pictures of the lenses.

The front corner before the repairs:

And that wasnt even half of it. And dont worry, when the car gets repainted next year it's gonna be painted to match.

smoked black is illegal where you live?
I am not sure about MT. I saw a 4th gen bird with the digital lights and smoked tails. Looked cool but not sure if it was legal.

Yeah we're not allowed to have smoked lenses at all.
But mine appear stock unless you know better. Kind of what I was going for with them.

Re: Got my klearz on my 92 RS...
I pretty much followed the walkthrough on the klearz website.
Took some junkyard berlinetta tails, strpped the lenses off, put my new lenses on, riveted them in place and sealed em up and bolted em on the car. A fairly frustrating process, but only because i hate dealing with rivets and sealer.
The lenses were a bit expensive and complicated to install, and they're not making any more. Im glad I have them, they're pretty trick pieces and there's less than 50 sets in the whole world. But if I had to do it over again, I'd probably get a set of 82-84 Z28 tail lights and nightshade them.

Yeah it is, but they probably aren't making any more of them. But if they get enough interest Im sure they would. They were fairly pricy too... all you got was lenses, and it was $250. Had to assemble them yourself.
