Hello everyone, not sure how many may remember this but I used to have an 85 IROC that was totaled back in April. Well I worked all summer and now I have finally picked up another thirdgen. She's a black 91 Z28 with 93,000 miles. 5.7 TPI is soooo much better than that dusty old 305 I used to think was fast.

Interior on this car is superb. PO's have always used seat covers so underneath the seats are immaculate. Also no cracks in the dash or ANY of the interior plastics. All gauges are working except the usual "2000 RPM higher than normal reading tach." I'm hoping to read up on that sticky and tackle that job soon. Only other thing is the airbag steering wheel was removed for what looks and feels like an playstation steering wheel

The weakest point on the car is paint. Its black and isn't perfect by any means. The right front fender was claimed to have been hit in a parking lot so the crunch spot on it was hit with flat black. Roof looks like it had been balding so someone flat blacked it...ugh. Also there's all sorts of spots that look like they were fading and someone hit them with a black gloss rattlecan or something. All in all its a good 30 footer

I'm happy with my purchase overall it's a beautiful base with huge potential.

Glad to see that you're back in the third gen community, I know that if it came to coming into a high speed accident in either my Intrepid or Camaro I would rather have the security of being in the big metal car. Granted, I never want to wreck my Camaro but I don't want to die either.

LOL yep I actually went out and looked at that one. Interior was IMMACULATE but the paint was basically nonexistent on the spoiler and clearcoat was flaking off everywhere. I didn't bite because of the paint but also because the motor was a 305 TBI and didn't impress me much. The car simply wasn't worth $4500 and the guy wouldn't drop cause his niece wanted this and that

I feel I made the better choice
