*in a horrible british accent* Coming up next on "Lifestyles of the rich and famous": houses you'll never own but spend the rest of your life green with envy over.
I'd be happy with just one wing of your house.

Haha! I started designing it when I was 10 years old. Trust me.... It looked a lot smaller on paper.

Re: 24 Hours of LeMons Build. 88 IROC

Wow, nice progress. I've wanted to participate in Lemons for YEARS. I even bought a Festiva for $100 (running!). 1700 lbs before reducing weight.
The car looks great. Good luck next time out.
Nice place too. My wife wasn't impressed though. She looked it over and said "Ugh, I hope he's got a good maid."

Festiva would be good. Get a turbo off a junker and you would be golden.

Like I tell my wife.... That's what's she's for....LOL

I grew up in Leona Valley and lived in QH, Palmdale and Lancaster over the years. I'm in Acton now.

Yessir, you can get it for Wii, PS3, and Xbox 360 for around $20 bucks nowadays. It's a pretty fun game and can help get you familiar with the track. I was able to predict every turn on that track in that last video.

I just inspected one the setups my kids have. It would be cool to have the same seat and steering wheel as the race car... He!! same pedals too.

I'm more impressed with the Saloon than the Camaro, lol

Very rare to see someone that well off that actually works on their own cars, much less building a race car.

Oh and nice username

Finally got the radiator in today and the cooler lines. Tues, Wed I'm gonna get the fuel safe installed and hooked up. Then Thurs we are going to take it to Willow Springs and test the whole package. Then we will see what happens. Most of the work lately has been on the hauler... It's looking pretty crazy.

It's over 100 cars at the drop of the green. 99% guys have spent thousands to get there to the green flag and it's very clean racing. Everyone is driving as as fast as they can. 50% of the guys who show up show up thinking they have a chance to win. Sure IROC Maiden looks very nice and has been put together in a quality way... But to be honest there are total POS cars out there that have all the secret knowledge and great drivers that blow our doors off. No matter either way. It's a total blast.

Re: 24 Hours of LeMons Build. 88 IROC

after more analyzing of finances i've devised a plan for my lemons effort in the future, a spor coupe with an lg4 with everything but whats essential to make it run stripped out of it and a van full of gas cans and junkyard s 10 wheels as my "sets of tires" car will more than likely just be epoxy primer and black rattlecan numbers, probly no performance mods except maybe a holley avenger carb lol gonna call it "barely made it racing"

I've thought very seriously about an ecotec. 2.4L. It could go 400 miles on a tank of gas. With 175 hp.

Just wondering, because everything has been really precise for a lemons car.. I.e. an engineer is involved . You must have a long history with cars too?

Just noticed the mudflaps on the flat bed haha, awesome. You cut those too?

That is my best friend's fab shop... We both do the work when I'm there. He is very good at cage building and he gets all the credit for that. I have mad skills too and can make anything. But when we both get together we're on fire.

Haha the flaps... No I got those at a trucker supply.

Tossing this out there, idea for some more graphicness on the car... Think Air Force, planes people shot down had a decal representing it (the word escapes me).. maybe skulls, or stickers representing imports etc.

It would totally add your mad maxness of the car.

Yes there is a lot of cars that have a fighter jet theme. I like the ones from WWII that have the flying tigers shark teeth.

i think he meant put kill stickers on it, like trophies, ie an american p-51 shoots down 3 japanese zeros the next day he has three upside down japanese flag stickers on his plane near the cockpit, trophies of battle, maybe take some honda logos and put em all down the door
