I would not touch that car with a 10ft pole.
Paint, Interior, Engine work and god knows what else.
Run away, run very far away.

I'd have to agree with Carlos773 - if the interior, body, and engine all need help, what's there that's worth $500? Sounds like the guy just wants to avoid paying for a tow to the junkyard.

Looks really rough in the photos, do you need a parts car? Looks like that's all it's good for. I wouldn't give $500 for it.

Jeez! What do you elitists want for 500 bucks?!
The car is worth $350 in scrap metal alone. I could part that thing, scrap the shell and turn a profit.
As long as he had the title I'd buy it. If you can fix it go ahead, if you want sell the SBC and trans and whatever else is good and send the rest to China.

Yes I scored but still for $500 dont expect nothing less than a body work needing shell.

Re: QUICK! is this worth the money?
@Aaron_SK - Maybe I came off a bit harsh. I understand that *any* car 20+ years old is gonna need more than minor repairs. I guess I should have said that, from the listing, I personally wouldn't buy it, but I'm certainly not a master mechanic.
However, I've seen nicer cars go for that much, and much nicer cars for for a few hundred more. So, if it were me, I'd keep looking.

Re: QUICK! is this worth the money?
crazy, totally understand, dude. The issue is that the price of scrap is going up fast so a car like that can still pull a profit. I flipped a stripped shell and still got over $110 at the yard.
