87 iroc-z build

im picking up an 87 iroc-z car for 600 bucks was a 350 factory car last registered 17 years ago. it doesnt have an engine at this point. im using my last project car an 87 sport coupe which had too much rust to put back on the road for a donor for a bunch of parts. my plans as of right now use the lg4 out of the sc rebuild it drop it in the iroc with the 700r4 thats in the sc. b&m megashifter, gray interior, led dash, misc other interior parts. when it gets warmer do the body work and paint the car midnight blue with 12 inch rally stripes. also finish my led lights i was building for the sc and put them in the iroc. ill be picking up the car in a week and starting the work

Re: 87 iroc-z build

picked up the car a couple weeks ago. also started dying the pass. seat to see how well the md. gray would go over the original tan. and the led panel i made for my last camaro for the front turn signal. unfortunately cant use it since the panels was made to fit in sport coupe turn signal so will be remaking them larger

i mean if i were you id just save back the cash for the 383, why put the lg4 in it when ur just gonna be swapin the motor later on. in the mean time do a little body, paint, interior, suspension idk lol unless your in super need of a car id go all out. just my opinion tho. whatever you decide im looking forward to the build

Re: 87 iroc-z build

I would shave it, makes it look cleaner. And look into wireless antenna I forgot what's called but you can simply have a antenna under the dashpad instead
