Re: New wheels = new pics
The head unit being there is for two reasons. I wanted a 4th gen center console but hated the look of using a 3rd gen firebird radio pod with it like everyone else does. Secondly since i deleted the a/c and heat there was no need for those controls or the vents so...... Just seemed the best solution for both issues. Plus it brings the head unit closer in reach to change the stations there. Always hated that i had to "reach" for it in its stock location.

What size speakers do you have the dash? Did you cut up the dash to mount them on the dash or are they mounted down below with the grills screwed into the dash or is that a cap? I'm thinking I want to do that to mine. Like the door buildout too!
Oh yea....the wheels are nice too

Re: New wheels = new pics
The speakers in the dash are the stock size 4x6s but I did replace them with Kenwood units. They are mounted in the stock locations but the previous owner recovered the dash pad in vinyl and installed the speaker grills to the dash itself. It's kind of a hack job but better than a cracked dash so I'll live with it for now. The speaker pods in the doors are from the PO too but I did recover them in suede and carbon fiber w/ red piping to match my theme.
