Case in point, last time I raced (which was decade ago!) I was comparing a 4000' DA to a 500'.
More than half a second in 1/4 mile and 4-5 MPH. I thought the engine was hurt but after a quick correction using some online tables it all reconciled to the same ET and MPH.
We typically have around 4,000ft DA here in Iowa. Sometimes higher. Last weekend we had 68°, 1,650' DA, and 58% humidity. For here, that's pretty good air. 👍

We're much the same here in central Alberta. 2200' track elevation with 4000' DA not uncommon.
At this time year, I'm hopeful to catch one of those 1600' DA days. There are three more kicks at the can here before the track closes and I'm hoping to get out at least once to get my long awaited baseline.
If we had a regional racing series like you do I'd be into it. As it is, there's the NHRA Summit division 6 bracket series and test and tune. That's about it for a street car like mine.
Enjoying your escapades. Keep it up!
