Re: What do you think of my Formula?
i think its a pretty clean car and its gotta be fun with that LT1/T56 combo! i think it would look better with the 91 nose, but im pretty partial to that

So am I, but finding one is another story. I had a 91, but rust kept me from keeping it.

Re: What do you think of my Formula?
Definitely. The problem is that if you find the front, you can't find the front. I have done the swap on an 87 and it is really easy. Having a parts car helped tremendously.

It is a ram air II. My original hood was covered in hail damage. It was the only panel on the car that was damaged. I am currently awaiting info about a 91-92 front and rear bumper. If I can get them I will have them on my car.

One thing at a time. I am having enough problem finding the bumpers and such. When people do have them they want a fortune for them.

The car looks dope! What did you do to get the front to sit lower than the back? I love the stance.
Also, how hard is it to wire in the GTA tails?

Remember, you asked...
I don't like the Ram Air II hoods on 3rd gens. Our cars are kind of sharp angles, the Ram Air II hood is too swoopy and curved, to fit. Besides it not having 4 nostril openings, like it should.
Don't get me wrong, I like the hood, just not on 3rd gens. I even had one, on my 97 Tahoe. I think the Ram Air I hood, fits our body lines better.

Re: What do you think of my Formula?
I chose the Ramair II for functionality. The only reason it is on my car is because my factory hood was covered in hail damage, if not for that it would still be rockin' the stocker. The T/A lights required the change of one light socket on the far end on each side. It is very easy to do. I replaced the lowering springs I had in it with Moog WS6 springs. I cut about half a coil out of the front.

What was the change in your tail light sockets? Mine are fine, I don't need to mess with them (check out my avatar), I'm just curious what the change was.

Re: What do you think of my Formula?
What did you have in it for lowering springs before? Also, how do you like the alston SFC's?
Oh, and I love the shift ****! Do they make a 5-spd one, or even better a blank one? Where did you get it. Sorry for all the questions lol.

Re: What do you think of my Formula?
My car had the standard Firebird lights in it originally. I had to change to a socket that had wires coming out of the side instead of the rear. They would not clear the other way. I had Intrax springs in it. I pulled them out when I went to full length headers. I like the Alstons. They were easy to install.
