Looks like a awsome car. I love the Ronal's and the ram air hood. Its very clean and nice color choices.

Re: Snapped some quick pics of my 89 Formula 350

I always liked ramair2 hood on 91-92 formula or TA's but looks good on your car. Did you get any hp from the ram air? Looks like you might get a few.

actually its not true ram air, but when the car was on a dyno a couple years ago we put a throttle body K&N filter on the car and gotlike 14rwhp....not on a stock motor though lol

Re: Snapped some quick pics of my 89 Formula 350

For some reason I can't figure out which spoiler that is. At first I thought it was the mecham one but its definitely different. Is that aftermarket or am I losing it?

Beautiful car justin. Nice hood paint combo and wheels. Eat mierda 'calichevylover' that hood/wheel/firebird combo is just bad azz. Just as Firebirds do.

Re: Snapped some quick pics of my 89 Formula 350

thanks for the compliments guys! If you noticed, the car doesnt have the factory dot matric stickers seperating the white and dark grey on the bottom.

Also note that the red line seperating the colors is NOT on the front bumper cover....

When I get the car repainted (same colors) would you put the red line back on, or leave it off as it is on the front bumper cover? I'm leaning towards leaving it off, and not putting on any decals or moulding....maybe just a few stickers....to be decided I guess.

Re: Snapped some quick pics of my 89 Formula 350

If you would like the original Decal separating the White and Charcoal, I can go out, and measure the decal size, and the width of each color and you could have one custom made. If you go that route, I would like a decal also, so we could cut the cost in half.

Either way, it looks sick, and looks a little familiar...

Looks nice I especially like the wheels, tires, stance, and interior. Def one of the nicest Firebirds I have seen in a very long time.

I appreciate the offer! I think im either going to do another single red stripe, or nothing at all.

I'm not a fan of the dot matrix lol

it is a beautiful car. did you have the hood unlatched or does it always sit that high?

are you running a vortec style distributor, was that a direct bolt in or did you have to do any modifying to get it to work

Check the TPI/OBDII thread in the TPI section. My car was the first for the obd2 swap with a 6 speed trans

Looking good! We just got back with the Camaro from superfest in MI. 21.9 MPG. Not bad for being ProCharged and 42lbs injectors. I think the 411 swap helped out a bit too

I like the red stripe on it. I say just repeat what you have on there now, only...put it on the front bumper as well.

Re: Snapped some quick pics of my 89 Formula 350

Actually as I save more and more money for paint, I think I've come to the conclusion I'm not painting the car the factory eggshell white. I'm going to paint it arctic white like the 92 trans am I used to have, but keep the charcoal grey bottom. I think I'm going to take off all the decals, pinstriping, door moulding etc. Just a naked white/gray bird. Also thinking of some different wheels too

I like how you have the trans am tail light assembly on yours, considering it separates it self from other formulas or firebird, VERY rare. Love the car. i miss my old formula.

Leave the damn wheels alone!

If you have to change them out, get some Fikse's or something. Dont downgrade to bullit wheels.

Re: Snapped some quick pics of my 89 Formula 350

very nice looking bird! I got the same spoiler from wings west. I was disappointed with where they placed the threaded inserts.. they could've easily lined them up with the original decklid holes but they instead had them randomly placed, requiring me to drill additional holes. Was yours the same? I found out it's a reproduction of the "Firebird 500" spoiler offered at certain dealerships in 1984.

From what I can see, my spoiler fits on exisiting bolt holes
