Looks like a 1 of 600 "Bandit II" edition 1991 Firebird. Never saw anything like it before, at first I thought it was just a custom paint scheme but after seeing the "1 of 600" I'm guessing that there was a company that made these things?
I'll be honest, I actually really like this car even though it's a base Firebird with the stripes and stick-on shaker. I think it looks great, all it needs is a more potent power plant (6.6) with a real shaker.

There is such a thing as the Bandit II...that I know is legit. You could find what your looking for if you searched the History/Restoration section.

I have heard of them and if I remember correctly they were a custom order car from Chattanooga Customs in Tennessee. Went out to dealers in the south only, but don't quote me on that.

i have seen one of these in a walmart parking lot in tennesse about 5 years ago with a flat tire. i just thought someone loved smokey and the bandit and customized thier car. i never knew they came like that.

Hmm I just noticed that the side skirts that are bolted to the doors are flat black rather than shiny like the rest of the car....
