The bronze and gold T/A I got to build in my wife's memory was lost in a garage fire. So after searching I found a 92 fire bird ,305 TBI,700R4 with a shift kit. posi rear 411 gears. Bought it from a mechanic. 187,000 on body , engine recently rebuilt. Sending to paint &body soon. Almost forgot how much fun these are! I think she's looking down on it with a big smile!

Thank's Dyno I've been away from site for a while. Thinking about changing 411's to 373's. Ran my VIN for insurance,found out it's a formula

 

Please post some pics once paint and bodywork are done. Looks like a good one to start with. Any other restoration plans? I'm like you in regards that I forgot how fun these third gens are, mines a blast to drive. My Iroc might not be the best one out there, but always puts a smile on my face!

 

Going to put sail and nose birds on, dress up the engine, interior work, possibly cam kit and stall converter. Maybe a cowl hood.

Interesting vin says its a Formula. Has the wrong rear spoiler and didn't think Formulas came with the ground effects. I've got a 91 Formula. Love it.

Thank's KK . I can get my door GFX here locally just have to get time to go. There is a salvage yard up here that has a lot of 3rd gen's

what is the off set on your new wheels, the same as stock ?

 

Not real sure about the backspace.looks the same as the other 's

 

just curious, from the factory, the fronts and backs rims are a diff offset.
