So I think a decent place to meet up is the North end of the parking lot at Gold Coast mall. The super fresh there just went out of business and the parking lot overlooks coastal highway and is walking distance from the show at Hooters. The lot is between 112th street and jamestown rd.

I was there last year and we all were supposed to meet up and no one showed up. It was myself and my buddy I went down there with and another guy with a firebird. I believe we tried to meet at that same shopping center (there was a 7-11 directly across the highway). If you guys are definitely going to meet and NO BS we will head there at 2.

I'll be there, with the Rustang. Shame the Vortech won't be installed before next weekend though. Blew 1,800 on it, have a whole spare $400 left. Enough to get an SVT Focus fuel pump, and almost have the install done, then tuning left.

 

The Z is all apart but we might be sportin the CTS-V maybe Saturday coming from Dover.

 

Car is all ready. I'm driving down tomorrow after class. See everyone on saturday.

Where are you at man? We might be able to meet up for the cruise down there. I'm in Sussex county and I'm going down there in the Mustang, a friend with an '03 GT, and a few of his friends. There might be an LS1 with us.

 

Im coming from Dover. I should be riding down with 2 5.0 mustangs, a GTO and some other cars. Ill be in my 91 z28. would love to meet up and chat once were down there

 

Which day and time are you heading out? I think we're going in the early afternoon on Saturday. Like 1 or 2. I was just up by Dover on Sunday. Picked up my Vortech from a guy in Middletown.

 

The plan as of right now is to meet up at a Wawa at 10 am on saturday. Be there for the majority of the day and head home that night.

 

My brother and I are heading down tomorrow afternoon. Should be there by 5. He's got a 98 TA and said that a bunch of guys from the LS1.com forums are meeting up on 98th street at 1 before everybody goes to Hooters. They said there is a big parking lot up there where some guys park their trailers. We are staying till Sunday afternoon. This is my first time heading down for Cruisin weekend. Really looking forward to it. I'll keep an eye out for third gen guys.

 

I better steer clear of 98th since I won't have the Vortech on before then.

 

I'm down for trying to meet up somewhere also if we can get a group together.

POP there is a ThirdGen meet Saturday at 2 at the north end of the gold coast mall between 112th street and Jamestown road. In the old superfresh parking lot.

 

I'll pick on them once I have that whirley-do in my avatar installed.

It's actually not too bad N/A. If I catch a nearly stock LS1 car that doesn't have the best driver, I could get 'em. I finally got to run the turbo SR20 Nissan 240SX that I ran into a while ago on the highway. He said it runs 13.2's. I was just barely a length behind him. With a better launch I could just about match it and be dead even with him. I'm on Sumitomo street tires and have the low 2.66 1st of the T56, stock suspension, so I can't go over 2K on launch.

He's lost to some Mach 1 Mustangs, Cobras, beat a lot of N/A nearly stock GT's, beat some LS1 cars. He's pretty big into street racing around here. I see him all the time.

 

You'll definitely haul with the vortech on there. Hopefully someday I can get something similar being a broke college student sucks....

 

I know what you mean. I now have over 12,000 invested in it just since picking it up in November. Cash goes fast, and it doesn't seem like it comes back as quickly.

I'm giving it a break after this though. I'll end up either broke with a non-streetable Mustang, or dead if I don't cool it with the fast car stuff for a while. I had an empty highway yesterday and I was with a friend, so I pegged the 150 MPH speedo in the bottom of 6th gear.

I need a decent daily driver car or truck. I'm thinking about saving up and buying a friend's truck. 2001 4X4 F250 7.3 Powerstroke. Right now it's a very well known truck, over a foot of lift, ridiculously giant 16" stacks. He told me without the suspension and custom stacks he'd let it go to me for around 10K. 20K with all the suspension work and stacks. He has a huge lift on it and 40" Nittos for a combined 15" or so a lift.

No I did not typo either, he has 16" stacks on it now. It looks neat in person. The truck just looks like a monster rolling down the road.

 

Which Wa Wa, the new one across from the Royal Farms in Dover? We might show, although might leave a little earlier, might be there in a Red Line CTS-V.

 

We're gonna meet at the rt 10 wawa by the food lion. at least thats what the plan is for right now.

 

 

well once again no one ever showed up.....there was three of us again. I saw a lot down there but I guess they just forgot AGAIN!!! NEVER MEETING AGAIN DOWN THERE!

 

I went down to the inlet and when i drove past again the firebird was just pulling out of the lot.

 

would have been motor blew a head gasket the day before i left had to drive down in a saturn lol
