Need Some advice....
Hello I'm new to this forum and basically new to the f-body scene Right now i have a 1991 Firebird v8 305 and im looking to sell it and I really have no idea what to ask for it, So if anyone could give me a rough idea of what you would think its worth.
What i know of that it has....
has around 15000 on the engine.
has 73000 on the body
Fresh Paint job Last week
All stock, T-Tops, No power windows or locks
New Firehawk Indy 500 tires
New Exhaust(stock replacement)
New cd player(sony xplode)with remote blah blah
Thats about all i know about it. Thanks for your time

Nice Car! Lots of initial Curb Appeal! If it has a clean Carfax and is automatic, you should be in the fast $4500 range. 5-speed or "must sell" could drop you a grand this time of year..No trade in value, realisticly...
I would say around $3,500. Many people aren't into the 305's so it will be a little harder to sell.
My IROC had a 355TPI w/forged internals and 20,000 miles, brand new built 700r4(2000miles) and new rear end (1000miles) and a 2 year old paint job. It also had weld drag lights, full race suspension and the list goes on.
I only got $4,000 for it.

but modded cars will usually run less also unless a person is out looking for that type of car..

Your chances of getting a good sale depend on you taking your time to sell it. Fuel injected stock units sell easiest. Guys buying their first 3rd Gen like to buy non-molested, sharp, late model units..Old gearheads are buying them for the kids to start out on because they are easy to work on and $ 4 grand is half the price of a decent 4th Gen..

kbb is pretty close for stockers..if you have mods then you have to take that into the price for yourself and what you think that would be worth then..but if its pretty much stock then a kbb report on private party value should be pretty close..
nice 3rd gens worth money arent easy to sell. i've had a few people say they would by mine, but they always back out.
also the winter months suck for selling back wheel drive cars that should be parked in the garage for the next 4 months
