427 LS engine in Peoria, IL

Having a tough time letting go but I've got two engines and the sensible thing is to sell one. Making this post to see if anybody wants to buy the 427 LS engine that is in my car.

$6500. 4K miles of summer street driving, mostly highway. Ride alongs are possible for a while until I pull the engine (sometime in the next few months). Handful of 1/4 mile runs a couple years ago delivered 125 mph trap speed at 3600 pounds using Krogers grocery gas, guessing when to shift without a fully functional tach, and low voltage because alternator had failed. By comparison, it walked a 640 Hp Gen 5 Viper on the big end of the track.

Gen IV 6.0 / 6.2L iron block
Forged internals, 4.125" stroke
ARP rod bolts, main studs, head studs
24x timing conversion
Texas Speed L92 CNC ported heads, stock rockers with trunion upgrade
Custom EPS cam (240 / 256 with 114 LSA)
IWIS timing chain
FAST 102R intake with Nasty billet fuel rails
LS1 F-body oil pan

I can provide the tune I use with Holley HP EFI, if desired. There is lots of money and time in that tune.

There is one caveat here though. It's possible that my new engine may not fit in the car so if that does happen then I might stop this sale. Sorry for the bit of uncertainty, but everything does belong to me until money exchanges.

I hope so!
I wouldn't do it twice though. Too much money.

You're replacing the engine in your red Firebird? Already?

BTW, the guy I bought my car from was in Oreana. Total scumbag - DO NOT do business with one Michael P. Sleeth or any of his associates.

Also, if you'd like to track him down and break his legs for me, I'd be much obliged.

Ya, I couldn't tinker on the car with my back hurt last year but I could tinker on an engine on the engine stand at waist height. After enough time goes by the engine gets finished.

I actually don't care which engine sells. I'm perfectly happy with the engine in my car and think I could coax it to near 130 mph trap speed with some easy changes. As for the other engine, if somebody wants a truly badass Mamofied LS7 then they can buy it. That engine will frickin' fly. But I didn't bother putting it up here because I didn't think anybody would be interested to spend that much money.

About to take the car off the road so last chance to see the engine running. Winter is coming and rear tires were bald 2 months ago.
