I was just waiting for permission to use a few pics. Now I have it -- so check it out, let me know.
Basic functionality should be there . . . no additional pages except for the Thirdgen of the Day right now.

On another note I just got an image rotator working on the home page. Hit refresh a few times and check out some of the new pics.

I dont mind giving you 'the keys' to a server however, my policy is I dont email them -- too unsecure as there is sensitive info on all our servers.
Call me when you are ready to set up FTP access and I'll set you up with a private folder. I sent you a PM with my info.

Eventually, I'd like to see every car pictured on the site -- maybe with the exception of a few -- be local rides owned by members.
The one I haven't found that I want (my first thought for the upper left header graphic) was one of us corner carvin a nice shady wooded road. Motion blur on the background . . . . nice.
But any and all pics can be emailed. I can tell you right now I plan to give everyone fair rotation for Thirdgen of the Day. But I will be a little more picky with the homepage / page header graphics.

Here are a couple of ideas.I think it would be cool to have a toy run for the holidays, next year of course. We could talk to maybe Steve Spohn or Bruce Hawkins about sponsering it.We could raffle off a free track day or a gift certificate from spohn or hawks. We could talk to radio stations about advertising for any kind of car enthusiast to participate, classic, muscle, cough, sport compact.Have a bbq somewhere, maybe a band.It would be a good way to get the Norcalthirdgen name out there. What do you think? Also we could have a family great america day. They have a park we could rent for a picnic.

Its not likely anyone will want to sit there and wait for the entire 9.5 mins to download from the internet, especially dial-up users.
Once I get the video I can slice, dice and do some editing. The problem is 100 MB vid would take hours for you to upload it . . . can you burn a CD and snail mail it ?

I'll give a try and compress the video with a newer codec -- should yield some better file size and better end quality.
You can send the CD to me at the address on the site.

the vid has been posted HERE
Right now it is one big file to download (~110MB, sorry dial-up guys) - In the next few days I will be working on breaking the video up into the individual runs, recompressing the footage and eventually placing all the appropriate links in the Gallery area.
Thanks again to steve, and all you guys for being patient.

yeah, the thirdgen of the day / week is something I still have to build out completely. Its all in the works guys . . . I do have a real job too
on another note -- I started putting together an online app for submitting time(slips). I'd like to get some feedback on this. Am I missing something ovbious ? What are all the different trim options (Formy, Trans Am, GTA, Berlinetta, Iroc-Z, R/S)
anyhoo feel free to play with it here . . . next step will be adding more functionality and linking it up with the "Timeslips" area of the gallery page.

Didn't mean to offend you Alex,I was just wondering.I also just meant to say that with a five year old and a 6 month old and my wife yelling at me and work, it's kinda hard to edit a video and everybody here was asking about it.Nice job on the site,it's comin along great. You can add firehwak,z28,firebird.

ok, so borlas car is coming down today. What replaces it is anyones guess as I don't think I have 4 detail pics of anyone else's car. Here's what im looking for picture wise.
one overall shot, front 3/4 or something
one closeup of eng bay, wheel, body work or some custom work you've done
one interior shot
one shot of the car at home, on the dyno, at the strip, on the road, nice scenic pic, whatever. Just another view.
Steve, I only saw the one 110 vid, and then the "My Videos" or something shortcut -- I'll look again at the office.
