Maybe, depends on money and if I am working that weekend or not. I will let you guys know as it gets closer. Oh, Travis and Eric, try not to break your cars before the meet, this way we can actually see both of you run.

I didn't know you had a Mustang Steve, what is it?
I plan to be there and running if my new rims/tires make it here by then.
Cutting it kinda close as they arrive the first week of March.

Hey Terrell,
These are not your average Torq-thrust II/D rims that you can buy off the shelf.
The ones I ordered are a special 2-piece design, custom built by American Racing.
They are not the Torq-D with light gray and diff pattern or the all chrome II's you see everywhere.
They will be powder coated dark gray to match my car, but in the design pattern of the II's.
Standard wait is 4-6 weeks anywhere.
The 6th week is the first week of March, so hopefully it will be here sooner.
If not y'all can wait till the 12th for TNT, heheh.

Yeh, hopefully they are worth the wait & $.
Selling the '87 Steve? No more 3rd gens huh?
You seemed like you would part easily with yours if the price was right. What are you asking for it?
Decent looking 'stang. Well taken care of?
Low 14's high 13's with those mods so far?

Hopefully I'll be able to go, I really need to get my tranny adjusted though, shifting too late.
del, those sound like some nice wheels you're getting, can't wait to see them.
Travis, what times are you expecting with the upgrades? High 12's?

I'm hoping to have the 3.73's in by then.I love the t/a.Mustangs were my little brothers favorite car before he died so I wanted to get one,saw this and I loved it so...After driving the stang I realized it was a tighter fit.I like having everything in reach.Plus it's a stick and parts are a lot cheaper for this thing too!I'm not in a hury to sell the t/a but if somebody wants it then it's gone.I'll get another one someday.I test drove an 88 iroc before I saw the stang and was a card swipe away from buying it but then I realized it was still a 305 tpi,5 speed which was cool but it didn't have t-tops either.I would still be swapping engines and such.He wanted 2500 but wouldn't put in a new panhard bushing and I had to drive it 500 miles.

Yeh, I've heard a lot of the "pros" of owning a foxbody.
Can't really knock 'em, 'caz in all fairness those guys are just modding older technology to keep up with LS1's of today just like we are.
Race any 'vettes/LS1's with the 100 shot yet Travis?
Looking forward to seeing what you run with the spray and w/out.

adjusting the T/V cable is easy
push the button and the little rod thing should slide back then you can get in the car and go WOT with the peddle and you'll hear same clicks and it should be adjusted or you can just open the thottle with your hand to simulate WOT and your done
heres a pic of the T/V assembly(the greyish/brown thing is the button)

i read its best to adjust it by pressing the gas pedal and not by opening the throttle by hand. something about the pedal at WOT sometimes being a little different then WOT at the actual throttle.

Man, I fell behind on this thread, all this stuff happening and I am missing it. Anyway, nice mustang Steve, those are by far my favorite mustang. Looking forward to seeing Del's car with the new wheels. Travis, try not to break your car before March 5, can't wait to see the numbers she pulls. Robby, it will be nice to see you and your car again, glad to hear you are going to run the car. Eric, sorry to hear about the tranny, hope it's fixed in time. How is the car running lately, is it still running rich?

i think im going to have him upgrade it more while its apart... well see.. even though im richer than hell im still right next to traviz ahha... no one is pulling yet.. unless he hits the nitrous Banned

Hey guys,
I made a post over at 3rdgen.org to see if we could round up a few new guys for the track and hangin' out in general too.
They are having a gtg at a guys house this weekend, but I am out of town. Maybe a couple of ya would be down to meet up with them and see what's up. Seems it's near the track, off Watt/50 too.

Hope everyone's still planning to go. I finally got around to getting new interior parts (seat belts, kick panels, rear deck plastic and trim, etc) so that's good. We adjusted the t.v cable somewhat and it seems to be a bit better so hopefully it'll be okay. there's my update!

BTW, I look forward to seeing all you guys out there on the 5th. Since the last gtg back in November, I've gotten the tune down slightly better, installed Spohn SFC's, SLP's line lock, Auburn posi, 3.42's, and a new pair of moser axles.
I'll also be bringing my new Canon 6.3 megapix digital SLR looking to take pics, and a handful of decals. Sorry Steve no decals for the 'stang

I'm kinda sad you sold the T/A. I wanted to see it. Did you sell it with the stock hood? Looks like you did.

Yeah, sold it with the stock hood, the sd hood is in the garage. To make matters worse I was in Carson city,30 miles away and saw them cruising in it.I might buy a 91-92 z28 somewhere down the road.I installed my Steeda tri-ax spring loaded short throw shifter.I just bought some new ceramic coated headers, underdrive pullies and I am having my 3.73's put in this week so I should be able to keep up with a few of ya
I may even pick up a nitrous kit too, watch out Travis.
