well shipping all that is a hassle. is it really worth boxing it all up and dealing with freight charges and all that (even though you are paying them) for 100 bucks? not really....now if he was getting 500.00 im sure he would...but i cant talk for other people. but I see why he wouldnt wanna ship it.

 

...especially when someone else has already confirmed before they are willing to come pick it up working within his schedule. From the sounds of it at least one part is very large. I don't think normal fedex or ups type "ship-able".

Yeah, I told him I'd buy it and pick it up back when I posted the first time to this thread. It'll be goin in my car, 88 non-t-top.
I've got a mild vortech to go in it, and maybe nitrous, so I'll have to go forged lower end before I do much. The roll bars might be a good idea, albeit harder to get in and out of the car for guys like me.

 

Guess it will be back up for sale(?) I drove out to the east bay area this morning but couldn't reach him on the phone...had to go back to work.

 

A few things turbo first of all you didn't drive out to the east bay you drove out to Tracy. Second you said you would call me this last week. Not the morning of. So don't try and put those things on me. It's all good tho. I'm not going to put it up for sale I'll tell you what Traviz hit me up you can come get it for free.

 

Yep, I got up early went to the bank, got $100, borrowed a truck, gassed it up and drove 45min before I started calling to get the exact address...
I was on track to be there exactly at 930-945 like we agreed on so you could make your 1030 commitment.
I failed to reconfirm yesterday if you had any change in plans. So yep that was on me, and you could have made other plans thinking I was going to flake on the deal since I didn't call again. Then again I didn't get any pm's or txts etc saying the deal or time was a no-go...
I didn't mean to make it sound like it was all your fault, just tried to say it's not sold because I couldn't reach you and I WAS on track to complete the transaction.
I had to get to work and get the truck back, so I couldn't wait around halfway there hoping I could still pick it up today.
