WTB 305 or 350 TBI motor

Hi my name is Joe. I need a complete running 305 or 350 TBI motor with under 100,000 miles, wiring harness (not hacked up), computer, Transmission maybe?, y-pipe, Complete TBI to pan. I need this engine to be in either IL or IA due to shipping. I work at a business so i can have it shipped here since we have a loading dock. Or if its close enough to moline IL i can come pick it up. Thanks-Joe My email is racingchevys10@yahoo.com

Are you sure you want that?

Stock TBIs are such terrible engines.

I know all about the TBI motors. I had a camaro TBI 305 (built) that ran a 12.6 on a 100 shot of nitrous and a 14.6 off the bottle. I can make it run. This is for my S-10. I need something quick.

lol next winter dave..

I'm in agreement, I don't see why you would want a 305 TBI motor. The heads on those SUCKED. Then again, if you get one, and you decide you want some cheap and much better heads, I'll have my 305 TPI heads off within the next 2 months or so.

what kind of motor is in it? I would probably be looking to spend $500-$600 for a whole car depending on the condition. Maybe more if i could ge a pic of the car and if the motor and trans are in good working order.

i got the 90 camaro with a 305TBI and 700R4 trans. car has 118k i think last i checked. been driven by a girl basically for the last 6 years so it hasn't been beaten on. car has some rust, etc typical of a daily driver car. sometimes when the trans is cold it will slip a bit, but if you're adding any HP you're going to freshen up a trans and add a shift kit and bigger stall anyways. other than that, it's been a daily driver up until a week ago when she bought a 4th gen camaro. I think she'd go $700ish for the car, but you'd have to let me know what you're thinking. i'll have pics in a day or two for sure and put up a post for it. car is in 60435 zip code if you wanted to check it out.
