Cowl Hood?

Is there anyone locally that has a cowl hood for sale? I need one for my project and would prefer to buy it locally so I don't get killed on shipping. Thanks

look up VFN fiberglass, they are decent on prices and within driving distance, plus you can get a new one and not worry about there being problems with some one elses.

Re: Cowl Hood?

Im the guy with the 4inch glasstek, its bolt on and in decent shape the only thing that bothers me about it is it had hood pins at one time and still has the holes for the pins but other than that its in good shape-no cracks.

I just mounted it. As you can tell, everything I do is slow going. I need to make a few more adjustments at the nose, but it did not really need alot of trimming.

Re: Cowl Hood?

blown....looks like you still need to cut that front lip down quite a bit. Mine is as thin as the stock hood in front and fits/looks much better

Re: Cowl Hood?

Yeah, that's the part that I need to address. When I was looking at it, it did not seem as though the front lip was contacting the body so I did not trim it. But it sounds like you ran into the same problem and fixed it by trimming the lip. I will do that.
