Re: How many people we got that still come here?
Pretty much once a day. Usually to respond to Dave's @novadk13 thread.
I was actually thinking about posting up to see if anyone was interested in doing a meet up. Something like Stateline pizza like we used to do.

I am on here nearly daily, more so in the summer driving season. The forum is better than FB with way more of a knowledge base without the goofballs IMO.

There is also Taps & Tenders in Naperville, which has some excellent foods. I don't drink so I can't speak to the alcohols, but other people seem to enjoy them. @Camarothatcould

My bad. I didn’t realize this thread was in a regional forum. Lol
I would like to visit Chicago sometime. Isn’t there a big annual fbody show in IL somewhere?

Re: How many people we got that still come here?
I have thought about signing up with LAPs for an Autobahn track day this year. Another group I run with is in the planning stages of a Dragon trip this year.
not sure how things will go there, just getting prequalified for a house, still need to find said house.
but I want a house with a 3 car garage, or at least a two car with enough land to build a pole barn for toys.

Re: How many people we got that still come here?
Most people in this thread so far appear to own a Firebird. Can always go to Firebird Fest if they do it again this year.
I don't think my car would survive a track day. It's a fun car but it's not a race car. Road course is brutal compared to a short trip down the drag strip or around a parking lot.

daily driver has been to the track twice, both autobahn full. Never taken that one to Road America, but it would do very well for itself. Also built for track work from the factory. Has the cooling and brakes in spades. It can really give the Porsches a run for their money on a slower track like autobahn.

I'm still hear EL Guapo!!!
I'm just not driving a 3rd gen
Still looking and still been sighing about my last ride I once had.
At least I'm driving a Pontiac once again only it's an 'ol Grand Prix GT model (wish it was a GTP)
If ya'll planning on doing something down the road I'm all in about it! I have a few ideas too (like I use to) on what we can possibly do this summer!

Re: How many people we got that still come here?
I attended the first 3 years. First one was after a 5 month under hood refresh- engine, trans, rust repair and paint. Met some great folks. These days the car hasn’t seen the street in 3 years and I check in here every few weeks. Not much time to spare unfortunately.

Yes, on the way to Thirdgenfest.
Sign is long gone now, traffic lights.

I grew up down the road a bit and remember those giant signs. Seeing those usually meant I was on my way to Krazy Kaplans for some 4th of July pop bang boom supplies.

I'm still around. The Camaro has been in the back burner but I still have it, it's tucked away in the garage waiting to come out some day.

Re: How many people we got that still come here?
I still check in every so often. I think I only put about 100 miles on my Iroc last year between house projects and working 60 hr weeks.
Somebody @ me if you meet up at Taps and Tenders. That's about 5 minutes from my house.
Obviously Friday/Weekends are better for most of us.
There is also Taps & Tenders in Naperville, which has some excellent foods. I don't drink so I can't speak to the alcohols, but other people seem to enjoy them. @Camarothatcould
