Got to make a nitrous pass :)

Got to make another nitrous pass tonight, tech guys rip my car apart everytime I run . Its something different everytime too. Tonight my down bars arent legal because they arent 5" from the halo...

Oh well:

Hit the button just after the 60 foot, let off before the end of the 1/4 because I was getting some surging (turned out to be a bit lean, glad I did let off):

60ft: 1.807
330ft: 4.868
1/8ET: 7.444
1/8MPH: 95.00
1000ft: 9.693
1/4ET: 11.660
1/4MPH: 108.98

MPH is 2 full mph slower than I trap on the motor, I let off around the 1000' mark. Still on a 100 shot, all I did was change the way it pulls timing. For reference, here is last week's pass:

1/8ET: 7.764
1/8MPH: 92.43
1/4ET: 12.000
1/4MPH: 116.25 (no lean issues on that pass)

So I am thinking since my car is 2.5 mph faster in the 1/8th than last Friday that I may trap in the 118 range, which would kick ***!!! Still have the 125 shot to run, I will borrow some 28" tires tho for sure when I do that.

Congrats on the ET, I knew the car had it in it. But why the slow 60 ft? 1.80 seems a bit soft for that car. I'm damned curious about the roll bar thing though... it seems a little petty to me.

What kind of fuel system are you running for your motor and nitrous?

Hey Brian, yeah it wasnt 60 footing well at all. Remember that 60 foot is on motor, I wasnt hitting it until after the 60' mark just because I am not that confident with it yet. I also didnt spray to the end of the track either, notice the mph is down about 10 mph .

Stock tank, fuel lines and a holley 110 gph mechanical pump for the motor with a gallon 100 octane in the tank for the motor, and a jaz 1 gallon fuel cell, holley blue pump and quick fuel technologies regulator for the nitrous system's fuel side.

I think its kind of dumb that I have proper wheel studs, a 10 point roll cage, open lugs, a firejacket still in SFI, a battery hold down, a driveshaft safety loop, a blowdown tube for my nitrous bottle, 5 point harness in SFI, a snell 2000 helmet and everything else I need and they are after me because i am "too tall for my car".

Total BS
