would it be rice...

Would it be rice to put SS badges on a :hail: 90-92 camaro with a vortech supercharged, mini-rammed, HT383 with headers, dual-cat 3" exhaust, flowmaster 80 series muffler, vortec heads, TPIS ZZ-X cam, 1.6 rockers, pst suspension kit, t-56, 3.23 eaton posi, strange 12 bolt rear axle, subframe connectors, strut tower brace, control arms, 10 point cage, no rear seat, and a 4 3/4" cowl hood?

I know that I'm just dreaming right now but wouldn't that be the beginning of a rad car?

BTW I just finished my first week of drivers ed.

In a word, YES! Just my opinion, but since your car is not an SS, putting SS badges on it is just like putting V-Tec badges on a gay stock Honda.

well, it might be tacky, but rice, probably not, since you really can back it with speed.

BTW a ht383 might not be the best route for a SC application, you will want forged internals

Rice??.......NO!......Tacky and untrue....yes! I'm also not one that believes in labeling a car something that it's not....truly not anyway. sure it has the speed and power to back it up, but it's just not an SS. That sounds like a mighty fine dream car though!

Well, what about all the old-timers who used to get a Nova for almost nothing, stuff a 396/402/427/454 engine in it, stick the stock 307 badges on the fenders, and go hunting with a sleeper??

Seems to me, the ricers have it all backwards, they want everyone to think they are cool with a V-TEC engine or Type R (whatever the hell THAT is!) but all they have is a polished $15 intake, and a $400 polished stainless fartpipe (errr, muffler) and they want respect? Ya gotta EARN it!!

I would rather have kept all the advertising off the outside, and let the timeslips do the talking!

Just my 2/100ths of a dollar...
Paul
