I use Adobe Photoshop along with Kai's Power Tools to do most of that type of stuff. What kind of photo editor do you have, if any? If you don't have anything, I'm sure someone here can tell you where to download something, or can help you out by doing it for you if you don't think you have the ability.

Photoshop will work with just about any format around. One of the keys is to make sure that if you are going to cut and paste from other images to make a new image that you temporarily change the image resolution of the one you are cutting from so that it is the same as the image you are creating (Image/Image Size). Also make sure you are in RGB color (Image/Mode). I prefer to work and save my images in .pdf format until I am done then flatten (Layer/Flatten Image) the image and "save as" in .jpg format. For the web I usually choose 6 for my image quality if I want it nice, or 3 or 4 if it doesn't really matter.

If you create text using the text tool, before you flatten your image, right click on the "T" symbol on the text layer (in your layers toolbar) and choose "render layer". If you don't you won't be able to flatten your image.

Photoshop is a very complicated program that can do incredible things. I've been using it since version 2.5 and still don't know how to do anywhere near everything. Read the online help, use the Adobe "Classroom in a Book" series (pretty expensive), or just plain play around with the program. If you have Photoshop LE I don't know how much it is the same as the full version, but I would assume that you can do most of the normal things.

Here is a pic I made awhile back, really simple, just made the text look a little cooler by messing around with it. The only way you will be able to actually learn how to do it, is by just doing it. Reading about how can help, but I just taught myself.

I also took the front plate off today after I washed it. Heres a pic, it was sprinkling when I took it, so thats why it looks wierd

Oh oh, Stephanies got competition

Do you have a website, or somewhere I can grab a pic of your car from. If so give me the web address and I'll create something for you and send you a photoshop file and a text file showing you how I did it, so you can try doing it yourself.

I had a similar thing going with a friend. His fiance has a 98 Accord VTEC and I have a 2001 Dakota 4x4 4-door Quad Cab with the 4.7 V8. I thought that I might just inch him out and he said no way. This went on for months until we just happened to be on the same road... same place... same time.... . He lost to me by a lenght!

The enhancements made between 5.5 and 6.0 were very minimal. For the most part they consisted of enhanced text editing features. I am so used to the text editing layout in 5.5 that I am reluctant to switch to 6.0 and maybe have to relearn something.
