Hey Guys I'm.....
hello everyone, I'v been at these forum's for a while now and ever since I have seen roshambo's sig. and the name cascade crew, it just stuck in my mind and I always think about it, I tried to post this on you websites message boards but an error pops up and I can't, I have been thinking about posting here and observing yyou're post but i never posted, today I said what the hell, I guess I was a bit intimidated by all your bad *** cars and my LG4.
On you're site I read that all I need to be part of cacade crew is a third gen and the dedication to post often and try to go to gatherings, I also saw you guys are a north western car club and sadly I live in Tucson, AZ. I wish I lived closer so I could meet you guys in person, I'm sure you're all great, well I guess what im getting at is I want to get to know you guys better, I want to be cool with you guys, hey maybe there is a little space for me
I have MSN Messenger and my handle is:
5.0 Camaro
P.M. me and we can talk, I would really like to talk to you Roshambo.
oh and look at my sig. to see what I got

Yeah, what Jon said.
Basically, we chat online and through the website forum. The more "local" members have gatherings once in a while.
Some very great people are in this group, and have lots of info to share.
That being said, welcome aboard!

You guys better get on the ball, it's almost 8:30 and nobody has asked me a tech question yet tonight. It's not like I don't have AIM fired up or anything.
thanks for the warm welcome guys!
So when you guys say welcome aboard to me, what does that mean exactly? am I in???
I'll be the CC representative for the southern region
I just came back from my best friends house, he has a 350 94 Trans Am with a manual 6speed, he just got it from his brother because he went out to sea "he's in the navy" man that care is sick! we smoked a 02 stratus by like 5 cars last night.
The goal I am shooting for in my car is to get 13's out of it with no nitrouse or blower, I know it's gonna take some work, but the camaro nut I am I know i'll get the job done
well guys once again thanks for the warm welcome, 87RS402, I'll see if I am logged on to the message boards.

well dude, I used to have a 1987 2.8 MPFI Camaro that was a quick little sucker, it ran great, I didn't get to mod it up that much though because it got stolen and totaled
.
I personally took it as a sign from go saying "get a bigger engine" I looked all over for a camaro or firebird that was in my budget range but to no avail, about 2-3 months later I took a route to the mall that I never take, if it wasn't for that I would have never found my baby, it's all white with blue pinstripes on the hood and sides of the car, the interior is in great condtition and my favorite part of the car
, the seats are a leather/tweed mix, the dash is in flawless condition, no cracks or anything of the sort, you can see the reflection of it on the windshield when im driving
it doesn't have GFX but I really don't care, it didn't come with a spoiler either but I bought one from a friend and should get it in the mail sometime next wweek
, like i said it has a 305 4bbl CC Q-Jet carb on it, the carb is a brand spanking new rebuilt Q-Jet and the engine itself is in perfect condition, tranny fluid is a ruby red, oil has 2k miles and it still looks pretty clean wich trips me out, all in all it's a great healthy engine with potential
, im just having a minor problem recently wich I'll get to later .
once again thanks for the welcome and i'll post more info on me later when I get off school.

Sweet ride, don't you love it how one little thing like taking a diffrent way to work can change things
, i got my car, becaue my sister who is from out of town, ran out of shampoo, and went to a store that no one in my fam. goes to, and saw my baby sitting there with a for sale sign, we called that day, and and went and looked it, the tag was 3700, and i could only spend 3500, so i told her i would call her in a couple of days. well when i called back she told me i could have the car, cause she liked me and my sister, and that she had offers for up to 4000 in cash. so i really lucked out.

RX, this should be your order of "to do things" this week and next.
1. Fix Car.
2. Pack Car.
3. Drive Car to gathering.
See? Simple as that!
We'd love to see ya there dude, if you can make it, the welcome is out there for ya.

yea, I really do wish I lived closer so I could meet you guys in person, then you can really get to know me, hell anyone down for a road trip
, but I guess the Inet will do for now, I am also gonna download AIM later when I get home so i can talk to more of you guys
My LG4 is bone stock except for the open element K&N I got in there and the flowmaster 80 & hi flow cat that will hopefully get thrown on this weekend. What I was curiouse about is my CC carb, is there any other carb besides a Q-Jet that I can use? I heard I can get a non CC carb but I would have to replace the distributor and the check engine and choke light would always be on, is this true?
My future plans for this car is once I get to the 13 sec. mark, to do little things to keep it going, but my main goal is to save up and then buy a Trans Am or an IROC-Z28, hopefully a TA, then i can have the best of both worlds.
EDIT: i just posted my thread at the CC site, click here to go to it.

The sky is blue because the sunlight reflects off the Waters of the earth the colour is then caught by the atmosphere and reflected back to us making it blue.

Dewey is right. The atmosphere refracts the light and what we see down on earth is the blue light. I think what Jonny is confusing is that the waters look blue because the sky reflects on the surface of the water. So if you see that the river is green or brown..... EEEWWWWWW!!!!!

If I can get leave I will be going. I need new tires on the IROC, but if I can't get them I will see if I can talk the wife into letting me take her Tahoe (in case we find some parts we "need").
Keep in touch,
Mark W. "Wiggy"
