wtb 3rd gen sub box
looking for a rear hatch area sub box. Speaker sizes of the box doesn't matter. E-mail DJJTrain@aol.com if anyone has one.
depends, what do you want? ported or sealed? how many subs? 3 10's, 2 12's..what are you gonna be running? i usually charge between 75-150...but 150 being a fully done box with plexi glass and alot of custom work and about 75 for a bare uncarpeted box, i'm guessing you'll want something in between...just a basic 2 12" box for a camaro would probably run you about 100 bucks carpeted and fully finished.....then you have to pay shipping, unless you want to come pick the box up....

The shipping on something like a sub box would be expensive cause it's heavy and big. The weight is the greater of the problem. Better check into that first. Might be worth the wait while to buy something local.

I hate to post a link to an Ebay ad, but have you seen this one here? link
Look to pay $35-$40 to ship something that big and heavy, no matter where you buy it.

i would never buy a prefab box, escpecially one off ebay....you don't know who built it, and what kind of craftsmanship it has....a prefab box is a universal box, if you get a custom one built it is made to the parameters of the sub/subs...thats why i'm able to sell so many boxes in my town....people throw 2 12's in a prefab box and it sounds alright, then they throw them in a custom ported box made by me designed specifically for there subs, and its so incredibly loud and maintains the same sound quality, they can't believe...alot of people think your gear is the most important thing in a stereo system, but really it is the install and your box selection...you can make any good woofer sound like ****, and you can make just about any ****ty woofer sound good, it all depends on the box you put them in....

well, thanks for the offers, but I don't think I am going to have the cash right now. klumb15, I'll keep you in mind, and when I get the cash together, I'll shoot you a PM. Unless anyone else has any cheaper ones they are looking to get rid off? (worth a try lol)

I've got one, but it only fits a car that DOES NOT have the electric hatch pulldown. Pics are at the link below...that is my old 84 TA and I built that box myself.
The inside of the sub area is completely sealed....very flush connections and even kauking on all the connections. The "top" part holds two 6X9's and a hole was cut for my CD changer. The rest of the area I used for my amp, but I left the lid off cause i never got around to cutting holes in the side for circulation. If you decide to put your amp inside and use the lid...you'll need to cool the amp somehow. I already fried an amp

I'd take $50 + shipping
