I'm looking for a T5 (V8 version) from a Firebird ( has VSS sensor) . I need the tranny itself, the sensor, torque arm bracket, and shifter. Don't need the bellhousing. Would like to find a World Class one however that is not required. Tranny must be in good working condition.

If anyone is in eastern virginia, north carolina or maryland, I can pick up. But I will also pay shipping if further.

None of the links at that site seem to work. All of them give internal server errors. Are you the one selling it or is it someone else? Did you remember and details of it?

 

I'm the seller. I was asking $1200 + shipping for the whole set up w/hp series trans good up to 450HP, billit steel flywheel, and a spec stage 4 clutch (8 runs on the clutch). Trans will be fresh. The only thing I dont have is the VSS. I could get you one for the same price if you want the set up.

 

I actually only need a trans itself. Already have the bellhousing, flywheel, clutch, and pedals. Also looking for more of a stock trans. My 305 maybe only has 200hp and will not be getting much more since it is my daily driver.

I have an 84 T-5 out of an lg4 car w/.72 5th gear 70k original miles, hard to believe but true, its in my 87 iroc as we speak, and I just finished the rebuild on my original trans, and going to pull it soon, it works excellent, and look out your rear view mirror I am your neighbor in Suffolk....Jeff.
