I'm looking for the carpeted inserts that go onto the plastic interior panels in the back of the car. This would include the piece on the hatch motor cover, the spare tire cover, the "glove box", and the 1/4 panel covers.

I don't care what color they are, and I don't care if they are stained or not. What I am very concerned about is that they are dimensionally accurate. This means no stretching, deforming, tearing, etc. I'm using these as a template to make new ones, so I need them to be the right size and shape.

Since I'm not looking for nice ones, I don't want to pay a lot of money. Let me know what you've got and how much you want.

top. There's somebody out there with a parts car just dieing to sell me these rugs.

 

So heres the deal. i tore off all my rugs to do exactly what you are talking about. so with the exception of the center counsol i could make you a trace of all my rugs. I cut new rugs and they fit perfect. If you are interested i can get some carboard and trace the pattern out for you and ship you those. Let me know if you are interested and what you'd be willing to pay. i'd gladly help you out.

 

Thanks but I can make a set of templates from my uncarpeted panels. I'd rather have a set of OEM carpets to send to the manufacturer.

I took off all my carpets on my panels when I restored my 83 trans am interior.It took me a whole 3 hours to get that carpet off.
I wanted to save them too because I wanted too make templates too someday.But there hard to take off with out streching or ripping.
But then agian it was an 83 so they got caked on the plastic more as opposed to a newer 3rd gen.

Thanks, but I believe for their molded set they use ACC carpet, which isn't really very good quality stuff. I'm attempting to get them made from the same material as the molded carpet I carry. it's better quality stuff than ACC, and their color selection is somewhat different, so I want to be able to have the trim carpet from the same stuff. I also expect to be able to offer it cheaper than the Paddock stuff, but time will tell on that.
