Jester or anyone else running s-10 V8 swap headers Is there enough room to run 2.5" downpipes under the S-10 headers?

I think so, I ran 3" down pipes over the valve covers but i thought about doing them under the header it would be very tight with 3"

Sounds good, I just wanted to make sure before I bought them but if I can't go under the headers I will just have to go over them

EDIT: What kind of turbos are you running?

Just out of curiosity... does anyone on this board want a turbo header?? I have one sitting around my apartment collecting dust, designed for a SBC.

I don't know.. what would be a fair price? It's a log style manifold a branch for a crossover pipe built in.

I'm going to try to include a pic...
Since I put a Procharger on my car, I definitely don't need it... thought I admit, another turbo 305 third gen would be quite fun....

that is the exact same unit shown in that Ebay post about the guy selling the whole kit. I figred since rams horns wont work on 3 gens that thatone wouldnt either. this guy Nick124@aol.com is selling a set of manifolds in a banks kit.

Well, it looks like the crossover pipe connection is in the right place for an f-body (if it was straight down like the rams horn ones it would hit the K-member), but that flange (looks like a T3 flange) is probably too far back to clear things on an f-body...

I don't see how there could be too many problems with getting that to work in an fbody. If it was on the driver side, I feel like it'd hit the crossmember, but definitely not on the passenger side.

I know it's the passenger side... I'm telling you, that's further back on that side then you'd want. It might work but it will be a pain, too close to the strut tower and will put it right over the main wiring harness, especially if I'm wrong and that's a T04 sized flange (still looks like a T3 to me).

I have one that looks VERY similar to that one. The flange has the same bolt pattern as a T4 but the opening is slightly different. It is nothing that a little porting won't fix though.

With having the turbo that far forward, won't the intake hit the A/C compressor?

not on an '87 and earlier car. The Alternator is on that side and it's much smaller. For that matter, on the '87's the alternator is mounted a little further in (I think just a shorter belt) and is almost entirely in front of the engine.
