Twin Eatons alive

Well, she lives. Decided to fire up the Malibu today. Seems quieter running the two with the BOV then with the single without. After she warmed up a bit, and a quick look over, blipped the throttle. A quick rap to 4200 showed 8 psi with some belt slippage. I'm all grins... BW

There will be a crossover tube behind the blowers, with a filter box sitting on top of the plenum. Cold air will be ducted in via scoops in the hood. BW

thanks everyone..

cost so far is around 900.

I may do the cone thing for now, just to get filters on it

I have to adjust the drivers side unit forward a 1/8th" I am just a bit out of alignment.

Did get the rear supports done and a brace from the TB to the intake tube.

Last nights run netted 10 psi at 4200. Damn I need to get this bugger road worthy. cheers, BW

How are the blowers secured? I assume you measured up some custom brackets? How do the brackets bolt to the engine?

Bolts to the brackets up front, and braces rear from the intake and headers.

ok, so i wake up this morning and i think to myself as i lie in bed:

man, it would be cool if i get this TPI system powdercoated the same color red as my car.....

i get up, as im getting somthing to eat, i think, yea, a supercharged red TPI... would look kinda cool..... (then i started thinking about using a LT1 intake instead......)

anyhoo, you beat me too it.. lol...

so i looked at the site you mentioned... and they linked me to here:

http://www.canadiansupercharger.com/

where can i look up the part numbers and get info on the chargers they have here? the prices are CHEAP!

btw, know where i can find a whipple screw charger cheap? thats more like what i was thinking of.

Depends. Here in KS there are no emissions. So that thing would be absolutely legal to drive here

Part maybe that a 80 Malibu did not come with a smog pump. Also it had a carb..

but the numbers were real clean.

HC's 17.5 ppm, limit 157 ppm.
CO .03%, limit 1.98%

I do have a 3 inch 2 way cat.

you know what d00d for the power it seems to have those times suck ***. Are you sure those wern't before you added the superchargers. maybe you should also get some 18in wheels on it with a 9 or 10 inch width, like porshe wheels. that might improve your times a lot.
