what year turbocoupe am i looking for and how much boost to run?

Since there are no decent junkyards around me, I need to know exactly what manual Ford Turbocoupes i am looking for so i can get the right part over the internet.

Ideally I would like Twin GN turbos but since they are hard to come by the 60 Trim .63 A/R Ford ones will do just as well.

I will be running a tt setup on a 350 with forged internals and TPI with a 4479 ECM.

Another Question...What kind of boost are these turbos able to make? I now plan to run an intercooler and was curious if I should have 8.5:1 compression and high boost or 9.0 compression with lower amounts of boost. About what can I run ect. I have aluminum heads.
Hoping an intercooler from a 2002 Ford Diesel is workable for my application. Got to figure out if it will fit because they go for 150 bucks on ebay brand new.
Thanks for the help guys.
Just bought Turbochargers by Hugh MacInnes and it should be arriving the 17th.

YEs you are right you want the turbo from an 87-88 TC or From an SVO mustang both cars had the same motor and transmission options... I was looking to get one of those cars a while back but settle for a v8 t-bird.. the 4cyl turbo motors are hard to come by in good condition.. The manuel trans i beileve was a T-5 (not 100% sure) heres a pic of my old car...

The 87-88's had the smaller IHI turbo. You want the older 5-speeds.

85-86's at least. Not sure if the 84's had them too.

Yes, thats right. The 85-86 SVO, or TUrbo Coupe with the 5speed is what you want. They have the T-3 with the .60/.63 housings. Most of them will have cracks though in the turbine housing, near the wastegate hole. Don't get discuraged though, everyone I have seen has this problem. It shouldn't affect anything.
