question for you people runnin n20
allright.....exactly what does it feel like when you hit the nos. im considering an application for mine. just curious how safe it is and what it does to engines?? mine is brand new so i don't want to add something that will wear down on my engine.
so....what does it feel like. worth it even though i don't frequent the track?? how much can i handle??
also on a side note i am planning on changing the intake. thinking of the performer air-gap what do ya'll think??

In my car - which is nowhere near stock, it feels like you got rearended. Answer your question?
150hp max, probably want to go 100hp. Please upgrade the fuel system to add a nitrous kit.

I don't know what this guy is talkling about but if you think its going to launch you when you hit the switch a 50mph like in the fast in the furious you got another thing coming. First off the N20 is usually activated by a switch the gets activated at WOT, so it'll be an off the line kind of thing. Second, your not going to get any kind of neck snapping traction without slicks...and if you have slicks its going to feel like a hit from behind with or without NOS. I ran a 150 shot in my Iroc-Z, you know what it feels like?...100 more hp...like the car grew a set of ***** and started to pull, but that's it.

If you drive the car a lot on the street and don't race it every single weekend, then n2o is probably the best thing compared to a turbo or blower. You still get the same gas mileage when you go to pick up a gallon of milk or on your way to the track. And when you want to kick some ***, just hit a button.
