Hello, my name is Todd and I'm addicted to Nitrous
Ran my best tonight, first night out with the nitrous. 11.57 at 127 mph. Love the stuff, except that I went through one bottle in about 5 runs.
200 shot. I was on Nitto drag radials, but never hooked up. My 60 foots were between 1.9 and 2.0. I also ran an 11.61@123, 11.78@125, 11.72@126, and a 11.80@127. I also had a few 12 second runs when I ran out of nitrous, and when I forgot to arm the system. I won't list those.

you mind listing your engine specs? I'm looking for about the same results you seem to be getting with my new motor build. I want to be well into the 12's NA, and at least mid 11's on the spray.

Stock 94 Corvette LT1 block,
LPE CNC ported heads
58mm throttle body
CC 306 cam
Crane Chrome Moly Rockers
Trickflow pushrods
Cloyes Double roller timing chain
Meziere electic water pump
SLP 1 3/4 shorty headers
SLP two on the left exhaust
No Cats
10 inch lock up Art Carr converter
built 4l60e trans
8.8 mustang rear w/ 3.73 gears
Powertrax lock right locker
I'm forgetting some things, but that's about it. The 11.57 was run through the muffler. I have a cutout, but didn't uncap it for that run. I basically pulled in off the street, opened the bottle and ran it. Not too bad. I'm still smiling.

Yep, it was at Muncie. It sprinkled a little off and on all night. There was hardly anyone there. I definitely need some slicks on it. A buddy of mine has some, and I'll definitely get a chance to use them. He's already promised. I got about 10 runs in and that was between 6:30 and about 9:00. I bet there were only about 20 or 30 cars there.

hi
my name is ed and im addicted to nitrous also havent ran it yet but i already like my kit and it should put me into the low 13's if i can get it to hook
toddlsf does that corvette LT1 have hypereutectic pistons? I know the camaros do. If so it looks like they can take a bit more nitrous than most people say. I asking because I have a ZZ4 block that I will probably end up spraying in the future.
I really don't know what the pistons are. I think they are the same as the Camaro's. I think the only difference between the Camaro LT1 and the Corvette LT1 is that the vette is 4 bolt mains. It seems to handle the RPM's too. The trans was shifting about 7,000 RPM. I think I'll lower the shift points a little. The PCM is telling it to shift about 6400, but it doesn't quite hit it then with the nitrous.

I would also like some info on the 8.8. I have been thinking of doing one with 9bolt axle tubes and axles for a while.
You seem to know all the cool cheap ways to go fast.
Any info would be appreciated. Congrats on the killer times.

I have the Southside kit on my car, so the torque arm is gone. That made it a lot easier. The housing is just a mustang housing, that I welded my Camaro brackets onto. I put a powertrax lock rite locker in it and bought moser 31 spline alloy axles. I had them make the axles 1.25 inches longer than the mustangs. Then, I just adapted the brackets from a 96 Firebird to put the disc brakes on the back of it. So, it's really pretty easy. I'm kidding, it took me a while to do all of it. But, I've owned the car for about 13 years now, so I've had a little time to think and work on the car. It has really come together in the last couple of years, since I put the LT1 in it.

If I read his sig correctly he has a heads and cam lt1. Where did you get 305?
I'd be really impressed if it were a 305.
