new cam(power adder)=11.55@120.4

Well Just got back from the track and am very excited.
I just swapped to solid roller 242/242 @ 112 lsa.
First pass out was 11.62 @ 119 twin to hyd cam best, Then I added 1 degree total adv. from 35 - 36 only above 4800 and added 5% to upper VE from 2500-5600.
That is what netted me a new best of 11.55 @ 120 MPH, also all times are all natural and using 93 pump gas only while still running through SLP shorty headers.
I think next week I am going to uncap the shorties and see what happens,I,m sure it will pick up my ET some more.

Hey Cork,
Yeah long as the weather is good I will be there.
Good luck to you as well.
I hear you are getting sub 1.5 60ft times, I look forward to seeing that.

Congrats on the new best. Gotta love how those Minirams pull on the top end. The one motor I built using one was a much milder 400 than yours and it went just a hair shy of 111 MPH in a big fat 87 GTA with auto trans weighing in at 3900 lbs with driver. Best I ever went with that same motor with a carburetor was 108 in a car that weighed about 250lbs less.

Thanks Damon,
Thats nice to hear about the carb, I keep contemplating throwing the 400 in my camaro with carb just to see.
But I still have more to get from this combo yet, then I may throw a 100 shot on it.

From Hyd Roller to Solid Roller, Yep changed springs.
The spring i'm using are a little excessive but they are all I could find without pulling heads to machine. 200lbs seat 484lbs peak lift .572, Comp Cams link bar lifters.
