6 turbos for 20 dollars.

Today I got 6 turbos and i just paid 20 dollars , 5 are diesel I think, and one is gas turbo ,3 of the turbos look that they are in good shape, the other 3 look ok but the wheels are stuck ( is there anyway to unstuck them).

The gas turbo is a GReddy td05h , does anybody knows if this turbo would work for a 305 or 350 engine?

49178-01 41 0 this are seme numbers printed on the turbo and h114026 is another number on the turbo.

two of the diesel turbos are garret, look that they came of from a crysler vehicle. the garret turbos have only printed garret A/R .42 does somebody is familiar with this turbos?

the other 3 are air research turbos, they have printed air research M 10.

does anybody knows is those turbos would work for a 350?

TD05H = Mitsubishi turbo. At BEST a 20g = 640 cfm, but nowhere near big enough for a V8. You'd need two!

yeah I will sell 4, and keep two for a twin turbo setup.

does the turbos for a twin setup have to be the same, or can I use two turbos of a diferent kind?

You can run two different turbochargers, one would simply spool sooner than the other one. It takes a wee bite more work though, and patience. I wouldn't just throw any two turbochargers on there though. Try to find some specs on the turbos and see when one begins to spool and dies at, if they are boosting at the same time you will have the added boost of the other.

I'm not saying a single turbo is better, but think about this. Almost all Supra and RX7 owners who are running crazy fast all run one turbo, and stock they have two....

Start pulling every identifying number off each one, along with what part of the turbocharger it was on (probably 3-4 numbers per turbocharger) .. I've got a crossrefence and should be able to tell you where exactly they all came from. Pictures might help too. Chrysler didn't really use turbodeisel stuff IIRC.. generally used on their FWD gas 4 bangers (omnis, le barons, reliants, caravans, etc)

The TD05H is definitely too small, tho... and if the two Garretts are FWD Mopar turbos, the pair of them probably won't suffice either... nor would I trust seized turbos, regardless of if they can be made to spin again.. turbine or compressor probably impacted housing.. best bet is to CAREFULLY remove the housings from the seized turbochargers, making sure you don't exert lateral force on the compressor or turbine wheels when pying off the housings (when the housing gets really close to the wheel, start prying on the other side, etc..)... you can lube the bearing cartridges with MMO or similar thin oil to try to ungunk them if they're seized from coking, but... no promises...

You've probably got 5 throw-aways and one turbo you can ebay to the 4-banger crowd for a decent profit...

I dont know about running two different turbos, you would have different exhaust characteristics and intake turbulence, would be best to just match the turbos and do it correctly

running two twins setup with one on one bank and one on the other isn't really an option.

one will spool faster than the other which will put boost pressure on not only the throttle body and intake tubes but also the impellor wheel of the other slower spooling turbo. essentially, this back pressure will cause the other turbo to spool poorly or maybe not at all. Aside from barely working, it'll start blowing seals and so on as far as i know.
