Nitrous question (i did a search)

Ok guys, heres the deal right now i have a 350 with cast pistons so i cant run as big of a shot as id like to. So what im thinking is getting the sniper kit, and run about a 100 shot for now and it wont be on the street just a couple of times at the track. But my main ? is if i ever do end up building a forged motor, i was wondering if i just buy the cheater solenoids/jets if i can run the 250 shot using all the other sniper stuff? thanx in advance

Why not just buy the cheater kit?

It says "150-250" because thats the jets it comes with... You can buy smaller jets and still use them with the kit just fine.

I can only speak on NOS brand parts since that's what I have, but all the jets are the same type, you just choose the size for the power and stick it in. As long as your solenoids can flow the nitrous/fuel it'll be fine. (And you have a kit that can change jets.)

good maybe you can help me some more

im going to buy a used system saturday. its a NOS brand wet kit but was a fogger system. the fogger wouldnt work on his HSr so he went with a plate. he said he has 75 and 125 jets for it but i want to spray more so would i be able to with just adding bigger jets (or is there something else i have to do like change soleniods??)

and can a purge be added if it originally didnt come with one. i really want a purge on it.

thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!

TTT anyone???? i also need to know if a nitrous kit would be worth paying 275 for without a WOT switch, fuel pressure safety switch, and purge.......

The problem is that most kits that they sell rated at like "50 to 125HP" have really tiny solenoids... You could probably go over a little but I wouldnt get carried away.

well what exactly does the soleniod do? i thought it limited the shot completly, as in not being able to spray over what they were rated for.

but how much can a plate system spray??? i was told a plate couldnt spray more than a 150 shot
