I have herd of it was going to have cam motion grind a cam with the swap thay said it would not make any more power unless I spun the motor over 8000rpm so I didnt do it
I have been using these cams for over 10 years in all of my chevy engines. Really, old pro stock racing technology just hitting the mainstream now. whenever you can clean up the pulses in the intake it will make more power. Whether or not it's worth it on your combo is determined if you have maximised the rest of your combo.

One of the chevy mags did a 4-7 cam and standard cam on a street engine and it showed the 4-7 cam showed 1hp higher at 6500rpm.

Aren't all the factory thirdgen FI systems batch-fire? If so, what more would you have to do than install the cam and change the plug wires?

In short form...
This technology is intended for carborated cars. Smothing out the pulses of the engine smothes out the signal to the carb and gives a more accurate air fuel mixture.
Doesn't do much at all on a fuel injected car.
And yes, just change the plug wires.

Isn't the LS1 set up with the 1-8-7-3-6-5-4-2 firing order too?
