Mwhahah
In Feb I had a little accident, my hood pins sheered and my cowl busted into my windshield at a high rate of speed, buckled the fenders and warped the brackets.
I decided I would save my money and get rid of the EFI crap, I never did get it tuned 100% even after a top fuel dragster spent a day with it on the laptop.
I'm keeping the supercharger...hopefully after getting it together this month I'll be in the low low 11's.....I was getting 9mpg on the highway with fuel injection with 93 octane, I'm terrified to think what this 750 annular blow through is going to do...I really don't know if I will have enough vacuum to run brakes on the street

That is without the 2in spacer I have to get the hat straight...dang...my credit card bills are scary...

Already had AFR 190's and good internals...
Demon 750 Annular Blow Through
Extreme Velocity Hat
MSD 85551 Pro Billet Dist
MSD 6AL Boost Master
Aeromotive 13204 Boost referenced Fuel regulator
Edelbrock RPM Air Gap

Turbonetics had their cast alum hats for about $80, IIRC. The design is a bit flatter, for better hood clearance. I haven't seen numbers on how flow differs. I'm running it under the stock Camaro hood, on top of an Accel Pro-ram manifold and 4 barrel throttlebody.
do you need a cowl that big to clear it?
And is there a particularly good reason for going with the EV hat? iSkulte is running a cheaper version and getting good results...

It's the one on the right - 10351 3" side entry. I welded the BOV right onto the bonnet as well. Maybe next time I go dynoing I can borrow an extreme one to compare with.
Project - If I understand correctly, it started making a difference above 4 psi? What were the before & after hp numbers, and was that the only change, or did they fine tune air:fuel, timing, etc as well?

Well, for one thing, blow through tuning and power increases are significantly different then FI, I'm betting a lot of the power increase in that example was a change in tuning or at least more consistent flow making tuing better across the board.
so i could venture a guess and say that an EV carb hat makes sense when you're carburated but is less important when you're running fuel injection.
if only for ditribution of the air above the thorttle body...

I'd agree with 83 Crossfire, also without direct personal experience with that product. Carbs HATE tight spaces above them. They like a lot of open room where air can straighten out and go into the venturis without turbulence. It can make a "night and day" difference in some situations.

We've used 4 different mfg's carb bonnets on my buddy's turbo / carb mustang.
The extreme velocity bonnet made over 30 more rwhp than the 2nd closest bonnet!
Keep that bonnet if possible!!

It really is a superior design, all the turbo mustang guys talk like it is the ONLY way to go

Superram is not for sale right now, it will most likely come up for sale on the board mid November.
