NOS basic installation?
I got an OLD nos plate kit a while ago and decided i should probably try it out. i know it cannot be complete, but theres a chance it is. it comes with:
10lb bottle
carb plate
10-12 feet of braided line
NOS pressure gauge mounted to the bottle.
1 nos solenoid
1 gas solenoid
2(what they look like) Fuel pressure regulators? one has a 1-15psi fuel press gauge-they say peterson on the bottom.
then i got a bag of fittings
and a WOT activation switch.
i beleive that is all it came with. im not sure of what size shot is in it or not. but i dont think i need the fuel pressure regulator looking things. im trying to find a picture of them online but im having a little trouble. but if i can be informed of how to run the solenoids for the fuel ect. what i need to hook up, i have no wires ran anywhere for it. i know one solenoid attached to the plate one says gas and the other N20. sothats pretty much straight forward. if someone could link me to the basics of nos. i plan on running a 100 shot.
i have a 406 with hyperutectic pistons 9.6:1 and an 850dp. i have colder plugs and ill have to back off the timing ect. the main thing i want to know is how exactly to hook everything up. for wiring, fuel and nos hook up. sorry if this question is too general!

ILL GIVE IT A SHOOT AT HELPING (might not be any good so take it as .02) of first wire the 1 nos solenoid and 1 gas solenoid each up to there own relays and hook the triger 12v for the relays up to one side of the WOT activation switch and the other blade of the WOT activation switch gets any 12v's when the car is running. now that you have the wiring done, i would T into the fuel line after the stock fuel reg and run the fuel line to the gas solenoid. mount the n20 bottle and run the 10-12 feet of braided line from the bottle to the nos solenoid now alls you have to do is attach the 2 solenoids to the carb plate....as for jet sizes look at my old posts i posted about a n20 jet calculator. im not sure what the "2(what they look like) Fuel pressure regulators? one has a 1-15psi fuel press gauge-they say peterson on the bottom" would be for, try searching next time

yes, AKA arming switch. Go with the whole aircraft style flip cover for looks, and a light with the writing under it "Armed".

You might want to contact the right people to find out what the kit is exactly so you know more about those jets. You can download instructions on Holley's NOS site to get all the info except power level info.
