Are you going to be using a turbo charger, super charger, or nitrous?

So why did you post it on this forum then?

yea, it meant forced induction. It's a running debate over the fact it's ambiguous.

Anyway, tech/general engine is where you want to be. Another heads up, your question is incredibly common, try using the search button and see what others in the past have been recommended, and look up those cams. That way you'll be a step ahead when you ask for a recommendation in the tech/general engine forum

maybe a nice moderator will move this to the tech/general engine forum then

Put some more detailed car info in your sidebar information.
Example, is this a TPI motor? Or, i'm guessing it's a TBI motor, but I want you to confirm that first.

I didn't realize the lift was that high on the cam, is that spec'd with 1.6 rockers? Either way I think you will have to pay attention to it, ie, use offset locks or something, or else the retainer will be hitting the guide. You'll also want some new valve springs, and seals, while you're at it.

If it's a TBI motor, cruise over to the TBI board, there's a few mods that are good starter modifications on those motors. Exhaust was a very smart move, i'm not 100% sure the cam is the best next move though. Double check with other members.

That's a pretty similar cam there, just has smaller exhaust lobes. The larger lobes help out with a stock restrictive exhaust setup. I suppose the CS 262H-R12 would work well for you.

Put your car info in the sidebar!
