Re: DOES THIS NOS KIT LOOK GOOD!!!!?????

you want to spray your 4 cylinder camaro? oh man. Also the kit looks complete, but without a nozzle or plate to put under the tbi it won't do you any good.

Looks good if you can find a plate. I wouldnt trade 2 emaxxes for it though. Maybe trade just for one and you wouldnt have a bad deal. .02

Looks to me like there is a nozzle, at the end of the two hoses coming off the solenoids (in teh middle of the back window).

What are "emaxxes"?

Re: DOES THIS NOS KIT LOOK GOOD!!!!?????

Ahh, I know the Traxxes was kinda expensive a few years ago, but if it were me, I'd probably trade both, especialy if they are both broken.

I don't think you understand how a nitrous system works, or is adjusted. You don't change the nozzle, it's a nozzle, not an injector, you change the pills or jets that are usually located at the nozzle, held in by the lines connected to the nozzle. There will be two different sizes in a wet system such as that, and in a matched set will use the larger pill in the fuel side. This is largly due to the presure differnces between nitrous and fuel systems, close to a 1000 PSI difference.

exactly, also why only use a 15-20 shot thats just pointless. throw a 75 shot on. it wont hurt nothing

but couldnt he just run the nozzle bfore the tb and skip the plate all together. ive never seen the engine of a 4 cylinder camaro so im not sure. post a pic of it if you got one.

Re: DOES THIS NOS KIT LOOK GOOD!!!!?????

IIRC all 4 cyl F-bodies used a TBI set-up, that makes it difficult to put the nozzle upstream from the TBI, but not anywhere near an impossible task, just need to be a bit creative is all.

It's easier if the nozzle is an annular discharge type, because then it could be mounted directly above the TB and spray straight in.

If he's going to do what it sounds like he is gong to do, don't let him touch the car. Youy don't want the nitrous to be sprayed before the filter. Yoiu need the nitrous sprayed on the engine side of the filter.

Re: DOES THIS NOS KIT LOOK GOOD!!!!?????

First of all those RC cars are worth way more than that nitrous kit. secondly its not made for you're type of car, so you'll probably end up spending another 100+ for the plate. DO NOT let this guy install this kits onto you're car, it sounds like a complete hack job. I would just get a sneaky pete kit if you want only 25 shot, you can buy that kit for like 200 bucks brand new all all you have to do is put a small black tube into you air cleaner and point it down twards the TB..hell you could even hit the bottle and all i the wiper cowl! I think this is just a bad deal for you. i say no go
