Made some changes last spring. The sad thing is I had a budget 355 in there and bolted on some iron heads just to relize the block was cracked from to little antifreez

Last summer car went 11.7 at 130mph gingerly with the stock 9 bolt only broke one axle and 2 driveshaft last summer with 6 passes at the track and alot of street abuse

I also installed a DIY hydraboost, painted the bay black and also mini tubbed the car.

You better get on the ball brother, October will be here before you know it. Oh, and, spoke to some of the guys at tech last night about your issue. Seems it won't be a problem....

 

I built the header from u bends just wanted the up high look of the headers and wanted room to run 3" downpipes over the stock k-member. Also my headers are a snap to replace gaskets and my plugs can be changed with ease, so it was also for function.

I do hope to have it down there for october

where is your alt..... did you move it low? if so How\where...

I have 85-87 serp. setup BBK on mine now, and my alt is inches away for the turbine houseing. hopefully you can tell from the pic.

Oh' thanks for the reality check on my Stock 9bolt... please tell me that was with slicks on.....lol (already pricing Strange 9in)

 

Whats going on in october? 3rd gen vs. GTO? Im down for that!

 

.... there's a Tri-State GTO organization known as GONE, and some of the local 3rd Gen's kinda crossed paths with them. Think of the story that David Carradine's character told Uma Thurman's in Kill Bill Volume 2 about Pai Mei and the Shoalin Monk, only, we're Pai Mei's crew, and GONE is the Shoalin Temple's. Total annihilation by our side.

Seriously though, should be a very fun shootout. I'm actually contemplating keeping my car on the side now, or having someone else drive it, as I plan on getting the whole thing on film.

Wow, I want to turbo my car so maybe I should come out to this shootout and talk to some of the guys that are turboed. I saw turboedTPI yesterday with my own two eyes and he let it rip on Rte 83 for a moment and it was like a miracle from god! With turboedTPI, you guys will stomp most of the GTO's. F#CK was that car fast!

My alternator disapearing act worked! Actually I made a bracket that mounts it just like fun pain pictures shows. I painted mine black it realy looks cool and hides it. I still run a serpintine setup but have no tensioner. I have ran it like this for 3 years with no issues. I guess everyone is talking about Englishtown event? I need to get down for that. I was planning on going to beaver springs this fall also.
