Cheap nitrous need help

Is this kit good? Is it easy to install?

It's going on my 1991 firebird with a lt1 swap
I'm looking for a cheap and easy kit. That I can use without having to do computer mods or any major modifications.

Yea it should work but depending if your gonna wet or dry, if you go dry which is really the easiest, your gonna need a throttle body spacer that has an inlet thy will allow you to inject the nitrous there. Or if you I wet and inject them at the fuel rail wich is gonna be a more of a pita to install.

I'm going with a wet kit I hear its safer. My only problem is how do you splice in with the factory fuel system

Re: Cheap nitrous need help

Do you know where the fuel rail is? Do you know where the shrader valve is?? If so all you do is run a line off of that shrader valve, to the fuel sileniod that the Wet Nitrous kits have. Then after the sileniod theres a line that runs into the nitrous nozzle. There a jet in there for the n20 for strictly the fueling. And also another jsut for the n20.

Says factory fuel line here but you can use a adapter off the fuel line or a adapter on the shrader valve.

Shearer valve is where you install a fuel pressure gave right. Right behind the intake on an lt1

Re: Cheap nitrous need help

Find the cheap "wet" kit with two solenoids and get that. The price will be similar. Also search other makers... NX is good, but you can find good quality kits for cheaper now...

Re: Cheap nitrous need help

I like this kit because the silanoids are houses in that little box I think that's a clean look. I found that kit but with the 100,125,150 jets for 400 even.
What kit would you recommend. Please find one and post link I'm looking for cheap

Re: Cheap nitrous need help

check ebay. Im not sure how cheep you want to go but there are also used kits on there.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/NOS-8-CYLIND...862a04&vxp=mtr

Heres a good kit IMO for the hp that youd like and its a wet kit with every thing you need to get it on the car. I think 360 bucks for a new kit isnt too bad for the hp youll gain when the juice is flowing.
